While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Blue Bear Mountain Campground Policies: All sites are limited to a certain number of people. All site rates include 2 guests. Additional guests for Tent and RV Camping are $8 per person, per night. Children 6-12 years are $5 per person, per night. Additional guests 6 years and older for Cabin and Tepee Rental are $10 per person, per night. Children 5 years and under are free. Firewood: Outside firewood cannot be brought onto Blue Bear Mountain Camp property due to the spread of insects and disease. Firewood is available for purchase on-site. Campfires are limited to the fire rings provided. Fires are not to be left unattended and must be extinguished before leaving the site. Only burn wood that will fit inside the fire ring. Please, No Trash in the fire ring. LAND MANAGEMENT: Leave No Trace: - Plan ahead and prepare. - Travel and camp on durable surfaces. - Dispose of waste properly. - Leave what you find. - Minimize campfire impact. - Respect wildlife. - Be considerate of other campers. Cutting, chopping, or damage of any kind to trees and plants, large or small, is strictly forbidden. No removal of plants, trees, or rocks. Digging is not allowed. Do not dismantle the rock fire rings. Do not pour out candle wax. Stay on marked trails. Pick up your trash and dispose of it properly. LEAVE YOUR SITE TRASH AND DAMAGE-FREE, LIKE YOU FOUND IT! FINES FOR VIOLATIONS WILL BE IMPOSED. PETS: Pets on a leash are welcome. We ask that you clean up after your pet, do not leave them unattended, and digging is not allowed. Pets are not allowed inside the bathhouse or on the furniture in the Cabin and Tepees. No Smoking in the Bath House, Tepees, or Cabin. TEPEES/CABIN: Units are non-smoking These are eco-friendly units. We ask that you consider limiting your water and electric use and do not request a sheet change unless your stay is longer than one week. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and are not to be left unattended. No open flame of any sort, (candles, gas lanterns, etc.) are not allowed inside the units. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-In for Cabin and Tepee Rental is 3:00 pm. Check-out is at 11:00 am. Check-in for Tent and RV camping is 1:00 pm. Check-out is at 11:00 am. Please call 828-406-4226 to arrange a later check-in time, after 10:00 pm May-October, After 6:00 pm November-April. All guests must check-in at the camp office upon arrival. By making a reservation at Blue Bear Mountain Camp, guests agree to abide by all rules and policies of Blue Bear Mountain Camp. Blue Bear Mountain Camp reserves to right to move your reservation to a different site when deemed necessary by management. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended and often required during winter months.
