About Dan & Lisa Doherty's RV rentals
We have lived in many different parts of the country, and have settled into Colorado which I love. After returning from a camping trip to the Colorado mountains, I had to find our way back. We’ve enjoyed living in Colorado now for 3 years where we love the access to camping and the mountains. Our goal is to help you enjoy your visit to this wonderful area, and hopefully find it to be as incredible as we have.

We recently rented Dan and Lisa 's Solis, and it truly made for the adventure of a lifetime! From start to finish, they were incredible hosts—communicative, accommodating, and always just a text away whenever we had a question. Dan gave us a thorough and thoughtful overview of the van when we picked it up, making sure we felt confident and ready to roll. The van itself was immaculate and stocked with absolutely everything we could have needed — we honestly could have just packed our clothes and been completely set!
What an unforgettable journey these past nine days have been! Thanks to the freedom and comfort of our little home on wheels, we were able to explore five breathtaking National Parks: Great Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde, Canyonlands, Arches, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Each park offered its own incredible magic—from soaring dunes and ancient cliff dwellings to majestic arches and deep, awe-inspiring canyons.
Traveling by campervan gave us the freedom to chase sunrises, linger under starry skies, and wake up surrounded by nature’s beauty. Whether it was eating breakfast during peaceful mornings, sharing laughter around the campfire at night, or discovering hidden roadside gems, every moment was a reminder of how refreshing and joyful simple living can be.
We can’t thank Dan and Lisa enough for providing the perfect vehicle and support to make it all possible. The van rode like a dream and kept us cozy, comfortable, and ready for wherever the road led. We are so grateful for this amazing experience and look forward to another adventure someday soon. Until next time—thank you from the bottom of our full hearts (and with our very dusty hiking boots)!

Awesome all around. Dan and Lisa are truly superhosts thinking of all the little things. Their RV has all that you need and more. I loved that we really only need to bring our clothes and food and a thirst for adventure! Thank you!

Renting from Dan and Lisa was an absolute joy! Pick up and Drop off was seamless. The rig was super comfortable and easy to get familiar with and easy to drive. They provided everything that we needed for an amazing mother daughter. I can't recommend this van enough! This was my moms first experience in a van like this and she absolutely fell in love and can't wait to rent it again for our next adventure!

Dan and Lisa were the perfect hosts. The van was exactly as described and met the needs out our family perfectly. When we had a small hiccup with the heating system, they went above and beyond to rectify it. Communication, including pick up/dropoff, was smooth. I also appreciated their thoughtfulness in not having a long list of “things to do” before returning it so that we could simply enjoy the last day of our vacation. Would 100% rent from them again and recommend to others.

We had a great time with the Winnebago Solis! It was nice to travel and boondock. The communication was great and Lisa was very quick to message me back if I had a question, even during the trip. They were very accommodating and our trip was nice and relaxing. The van was stocked with everything you may need minus your clothes and a bit of food. They even went through the van and explained how everything worked prior to our departure. Our trip was soul refreshing for sure and I highly recommend Dan and Lisa's Winnebago Solis for your adventures!!

We had such a great trip with Dan and Lisa’s van! They were really kind hosts and the van was immaculate. They had every thing super organized and were very easy to communicate with. We traveled as a family of 4 and had everything we needed. So appreciative of these hosts and vehicle for making our camping trip so memorable.

Our family of 4 had a fantastic time in the sprinter van! We visited several National Parks. The van was super clean, had tons of storage, equipped with all the gear we needed, and there were thoughtful touches throughout, compliments of the owners. They were great to work with and very responsive. Will definitely look this one up again to rent! Thank you Dan & Lisa!

We had a fantastic trip, Dan and Lisa were great to deal with and communication was fantastic. Vehicle was better than expected, they have it set up with everything you could possibly need. All we did was show up with our bags and off we went on our week long adventure across Colorado.

Dan and Lisa were great hosts and the van was beautiful! This was our third time renting a van and the Solis was our favorite. The configuration of the van is ideal and the amenities (chairs, mat, cooking supplies, games, extra lights, speakers…the list goes on) they included were good quality and added to the overall experience. Oh and the bedding! Great pillows and bedding. While it’s not an off roading vehicle, we found the tires got us around on many mountain gravel roads without any issue. Hands down, this was an awesome van from great people. We highly recommend renting from Dan and Lisa!
