About Steph's RV rentals
Ever since renting a teardrop camper a few years ago, we have been in love with the idea of restoring and renovating a vintage camper. When Covid hit, we finally decided to make the purchase and begin renovation. After many hours of work, Lil Miss North is now ready to hit the road and be enjoyed by families all over Minnesota. Super fun getaway with Lil Miss North! It was our anniversary weekend and we wanted an experience that was a little less hardcore than camping but nothing super glamorous. All of the basics were provided and we had a very comfortable stay. Steph and Nic were really easy to work with and were gracious with us being first time RV-ers. We are hooked!

We had such an amazing experience renting Lil Miss North for the weekend! Steph and Nic were so easy to talk to and coordination was a breeze. Hauling the camper was just as easy. We have been camping many times over the years but this was the first time in a camper. Game changer!! Can’t foresee going back to tents after this weekend. It was 37 degrees our first night and Lil Miss North kept us warm and comfy! Both beds are super comfortable and the stove top was clutch for making warm fresh meals. Would 10/10 recommend and 100% rent with Steph and Nic again. Such a fun and great experience all around!

This little vintage camper was so perfect for our quick weekend trip. It was cozy, well ventilated and Steph and Nic could not have been more accommodating!

Nic and Steph were great to work with and very helpful for our pickup. Lil’ Miss North was great for us - we comfortably slept two adults, three kids and a dog by using the full size bunk bed for two children. The camper cooled down nicely in the evenings and the beds were comfortable for a good night’s sleep. I would only recommend adding a can opener and a fly swatter (we only had flies come in while we were packing up, not through the screens or anything!).

Super cute, super easy! Great owners. Rented for 2 separate weekends. One with my 6’5” husband, MIL, and tween daughter. All were cozy but comfortable. 2nd was just with my daughter, and we had plenty for room when it started raining. This camper is in the process of being renovated so don’t expect perfection, but I think it adds to the charm. Literally took 10 minutes to set up. Table folds down to a bed, couch folds into a bed, and there is a top bunk that folds down (kids only). Bathroom is not hooked up (no big deal to me) and oven is not working (I didn’t need it anyway), but just so you know! Would definitely rent again.

Our family of 5 (2 grownups, 6 and 3 yr old daughters and dog) had a blast in Lil Miss North! We took her to William Obrien State Park and used her to the full extent. Drizzly and chilly weather kept us inside enjoying her to her fullest with many games, laughs, meals and fun. She is a perfectly imperfect cutie...everything works you need (heat, stove top, fridge, coffee pot, toaster) and slept us all great. The top bunk was handy for kids sleeping and also storing our things we didn't want to trip over. This was our first go at an actual camper (we usually tent) and Steph and Nik were great at explaining everything so we knew how to use it. We have a Ford Edge without the tow package and it pulled it just fine (did drive another car to be safe and carry the heavy gear). If someone is looking for the fancy camper with a working toilet and not having to work a little with old joints/quirks then you'll need to look elsewhere. If you are looking for adorable charm and memories with some character (and a camper that naturally makes for fun conversation with neighbor campers), then this is for you! We will remember this family adventure forever!

Lil Miss North was everything we hoped for, and Steph and Nic were great. This 50 year old trailer has a few quirks, but that adds to the charm. There was plenty of room for us and our 15 yr old. We took the trailer out in October and the heater kept us toasty during a snow day. The beds were comfy after long hikes. Steph checked in with us to make sure everything was okay, and was very easy to work with when our travel plans changed. I highly recommend Lil Miss North.

We had a great time with Little Miss North. It has a cute up north vintage style and is really homey inside. Plenty of nice little touches. The main bed is small (full size) but really comfy. There are pots, pans etc, but all the silverware was disposable plastic, and the plates were also disposable. Yes, it saves on water because the sink isn’t hooked up (which we knew) but I didn’t like throwing all that stuff in the trash. We had booked a campsite a while back and then realized the weather would be really cold, so we rented this trailer to stay warm, which I communicated to the host. But, when my husband picked it up they said they have never used the heat all night so my husband was worried about turning it on and the first night we froze. The second night I insisted on heat and it was fine and toasty in there. In all, this is a great little camper!
