I grew up using campers on hunting trips with my father and grandfather. This Riverside is the second camper I've owned as an adult -- my wife Amber and I were able to upgrade from my previous model after we got married. We always love the chance to get outside for a weekend. I spent 5 months of my 20s backpacking the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, so as I get a little older I definitely appreciate the extra comfort a camper brings to the woods.

McKayne met us as planned and was very helpful – he explained how to hook up the trailer and assisted with different tasks as we got on our way. The camper was clean, cute, and looked exactly as described on Outdoorsy.We had previously explained that we would be dry camping (no electric or water/septic hook-up). He had assured us that the battery was charged and that the camper would function in that situation. Unfortunately the battery was very close to dead and could only hold a charge for a few hours (not a few days as promised). Every time the battery died, an alarm would go off in the camper, which meant that we actually had to leave the camper and find people close by who would take us in for the night. The alarm was persistent and very loud, making it impossible for our dogs or ourselves to stay in it.The following day we determined that we need to charged the battery with our Jeep just before going to bed, and then shut off everything (including the gas fridge) each night, in order to make it until the morning without the alarm going off. Given that we lost the contents of our freezer using this system, we decided to substitute McKayne's battery with our own (we had brought a spare to use for a fan and similar items, but ended up using it to run the camper). Once we hooked up our own battery, all was well and we finished the final days of our trip without alarms.

We loved this camper! The kids had a blast and so did we. It was super easy to tow and made our camping trip so much more fun and convenient. Plus it’s so cute and retro and we got tons of compliments!

This was our first camping trip as a family, and this trailer was perfect! It was filled with many camping essentials, so you dont have to pack it all. The camper was very clean, and user friendly (for example, folding the table down to create the bed). We were not able to take advantage of the all the amentities, but the bathroom on board was great for us! Plenty of storage for food an drinks too. Communication before, during and after our trip was easy and McKayne was always available via text or phone cal if we needed. Pick up and drop off were very easy as well. If you are looking to step up your tenting or add to your tenting experience, I recommend this cute Retro Camper!

Smooth transaction with the owners & they are very friendly folks, the Retro RV was perfect for our trip as well. Everything was clean and in great shape. The travel trailer was easy to tow. I liked the YouTube walk thru that was offered up as well - it’s nice to be able to go back and reference info at a later date. Thanks again !

Pickup and dropoff were extremely easy and straightforward. McKayne is very knowledgeable and also laid back. The camper is intuitive, nicely set up, easy to haul. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an upgraded camping experience.
