About Rachel's RV rentals

Charley the van is 100% a passion project. After surviving covid, we bought a sprinter, built it out in 5 weeks and set out to explore this beautiful country of ours. My partner and I lived in Charley for over 3 months and made several upgrades and installations to the build while we were on the road. We filled it with trinkets from our travels and with lots of love, which anyone who enters it will feel. We had such an amazing journey traveling around in our custom van and living the van life, we wanted to share the experience and the freedom with others while we are working back in the real world. We hope you enjoy our van and perhaps we'll see you out there on the road!

Our trip with “Charley” was absolutely perfect. The RV was beautifully outfitted, cutely appointed, and amazingly detailed. We loved our trip. We had a couple of hiccups in our personal travels, but Rachel was kind, gracious, communicative and accommodating. A perfect experience!

Best week ever!! We took Charley all through Yosemite to Big Sur and back to LA.
Communication was amazing and all of our questions were answered so fast!!

We had the absolute best time with Charley! The van is just as pictured, so beautifully unique and functional. The owner was really laidback and responsive. They had step by step easily understandable instructions for managing the van. We had everything we needed to have the most memorable trip!

We picked this van because it was gorgeous, but we fell in love with it for so many reasons! It was so comfortable, so functional, and we loved it so much we want to buy our own. Pick up and drop off were a breeze. Would happily rent Charley again!

The owners were very communicative and friendly from start to finish! They were flexible with meeting us when we arrived from the airport and took the time to introduce us to Charley The Van. There was also an informative and detailed manual with all the needed instructions for use. Charley was impressively comfortable and more than suitably equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend trip from LA to Joshua Tree. This was our (a couple of lovebirds) first experience with both Outdoorsy and camper vans, and we were pleasantly surprised by how awesome the experience was for us. The van enabled us to see more in the day and sleep in destinations within the national park that we wouldn't have been able to enjoy had we rented a regular vehicle. Overall, Charley was in great shape and super dependable throughout our trip. We highly recommend renting Charley, and be ready for incredibly memorable getaway!!!
