The experience was as expected, we were testing van camping. No problems and would recommend Greg’s Westfalia for anyone wanting to give it a try.

The van was PERFECT for our little family of 4. Having the heater at night was great as autumn nights were very cold. Greg was easy to communicate with and very flexible.

The one issue was that we were never sure if the valve to shut off the propane tank was working. This could have been problematic since we were travelling on a ferry..We had turned the gas off as instructed, but when tested, after five minutes, we didn’t bleed off the line. We used our own propane stove for the duration of the trip.

Had an amazing two week adventure across the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island with Greg’s van! Ran very smoothly, well stocked with linens and everything you needed to cook. Propane stove and fridge worked perfectly. We stayed mostly off grid so didn’t hook up to electrical and had no issues. Greg was a great communicator and pick up and drop off was a breeze. Kids absolutely loved sleeping in the pop up and we were comfortable in the van. Would highly recommend this rental. Great to be be able to make meals while waiting for the ferry and way easier to park than a bigger RV. Hope to do it again!

We rented a classic 1977 Volkswagen camper van from Greg for a 10-day tour of BC, and it was an incredible experience. British Columbia is such a beautiful province, and exploring it in this vintage VW made it even more special.
Leading up to our departure, Greg answered all our questions in a timely fashion. When we arrived, he walked us through all the unique functions of the classic bus, gave us great pointers on driving a '77 VW, and shared awesome recommendations for areas to visit.
We had an amazing time both at standard campsites and off-grid boondocking. We would definitely rent from Greg again

We loved the van - the setup, the nostalgia, the adventure! We gave her a name: Blue Berrymore. There was a slight hiccup with arrival timing but it all worked out. Thanks Greg!

Had a great few days in Greg’s Westfalia. The van was in good shape and his explanations were thorough. It was my first solo camper van trip and I felt I was set up for success. Would rent again!

The host was very accommodating. Despite the guest before us damaging the brakes, the host towed the vehicle to where we needed it so we could still use it as an "extra bedroom" for a family reunion. We were a little sad we could not drive it, but since we only needed it as a place to sleep, we really appreciated the effort and cost it took to bring the van to us rather than cancelling the booking.

We had a last minute need for an accommodation. Not only did Greg rescue us from our dillema, he responded to our request within minutes. He was a great host, getting the van ready for us on short notice, and thoroughly going over everything we needed to know. We enjoyed the van and our transaction with Greg!

Absolutely loved trying out this little camper! The vibe and retro feel are perfect if you like slowing things down on your trip. Greg was clear, concise and easily gave a great rundown on everything you need to know about the vehicle. I would definitely rent this again on our next west coast adventure. We all know: it’s not the destination but the journey… thank you for the wonderful experience!
