Hi, we are David and Julie, We have 6 children and enjoy the great outdoors. We have graduated from pop-ups, travel trailers, toy haulers and finally have our Class C motor coach. We love the mountains, especially Colorado and Utah. We would love to share our passion with those who don't want to own an RV of their own!

I really struggled with how to rate this experience because we had some serious mechanical issues with the RV that really caused a significant impact on our trip. The owners were fantastic with their communication leading up to the rental and were extremely responsive with any questions we had. The RV was clean and supplied with everything we would need.On our second night, the dump tank hose broke and drained what was in the black water tank all over me. I had to purchase a new dump hose, which the owner reimbursed me for the expense. However, the worst part was that something happened that caused all of the electricity to short inside the house portion. Without power, we couldn't turn on the electricity, start the generator, run the water pump, turn on the AC, or keep the fridge cool. The owners were very helpful in attempting to resolve the issues. We spent hours on the phone with them walking through possible solutions and finally thought we had solved the problem.However, we eventually learned that the house batteries were not charging. As those two batteries died, the electricity quit working again. We tried jump starting the batteries from the vehicle battery, but the house batteries would not hold a charge. We stopped at a Walmart and had both batteries checked and they determined that one battery was totally dead. We replaced the battery (which the owner reimbursed), but even the new battery would not hold its charge and would quickly drain when running any electrical components in the house. The fridge will run on propane when it's not connected to electricity; however, it doesn't keep things very cool running on propane, so we really had to limit how often we could open the fridge to ensure our food didn't spoil.In the end, we learned that in order to have electricity in the house, we would need to keep a battery charger connected to the house batteries at all times in order to keep them charging. This was really inconvenient, but necessary if we wanted to have electricity. In the end, the owner did end up waiving some of the charges because of the inconvenience and reimbursed me for all expenses we incurred related to repairs we had paid out of pocket.We were also surprised to find out after returning the RV that we had somehow caused some damage to the exterior trim of the RV. This resulted in us forfeiting our entire $1,000 security deposit plus paying an additional $500 to cover the damages. The insurance provided by Outdoorsy would not allow for a second opinion on the repair costs and there was no way to appeal the costs. So our trip ended up costing us double what we planned on. Based on this experience, we learned that even the most minor repair on an RV has significant repair costs.

Julie and David even worked through a delivery hiccup for me. They went above and beyond....and the vehicle is exactly what was needed and expected, if not more. A flawless trip and first Outdoorsy experience!

This was our first time renting an RV, the whole process was great. There was open communication, preview of unit and pick up/drop off was easy. The unit was well equipped, working order and clean. We weren't sure what all we needed to take with us for the 8 day bible camp but there was plenty of storage for everything. Family joined us and having the shower/bathroom available close by was very handy for our tent camping daughter. We would defiantly rent again from Julie.

This camper is perfect for a weekend get away. The truck was roomy and the camper had everything you would need and then some. Julie & Dave responded quickly when we had any questions. Definitely will rent again from them.

Julie & David are awesome to work with. They respond quickly to questions (even the zillion questions that I asked) with helpful information and were just as delightful in person. Their RV is beautifully maintained, spacious, and comfortable. I highly recommend these owners and this RV.
