4.7About Lindsey Mast
My name is Lindsey and my wife is Bertha. We have 4 girls and one boy (ages 6-16). We are a Christian family. I am very involved at Van's Aircraft, Inc. where I've worked for the last 22 years. (the world-leader in home-built aircraft) We purchased Chili Spice last Spring and made big plans to live in it for 4 weeks and 7,000 miles! In June/July, 2022, the 7 of us loaded up and went to Oklahoma/Arkansas/Missouri/S.Carolina/Virginia/Pennsylvania -- those were our main stops 😀 We traveled for 4 weeks and could have done another four! It was a bit tight quarters for all of us, but we got it figured out and really enjoyed it. It was so much fun to be able to fire up the generator and have a fresh cup of coffee to sip while driving down the interstate -- or microwave popcorn for a favorite snack for my boy. Not to mention, having a functional bathroom anytime (as long as someone else wasn't already using it 😉) One of my favorite things was driving PAST rest areas! We were surprised how good time we made because we could just keep going and didn't have to stop for food or bathrooms every hour or two. Renting it out part time is the only real way we can justify keeping this long-term. I'm excited to do so! She only has 35k miles on her and a lot of good times still coming! It drives absolutely fantastic. Being 32' long is the perfect length. It turns fairly short and FITS nicely in two normal car spaces at the backside of any WalMart or other big parking lot.

It does need a few items repaired, and cosmetically it is less than perfect.
Overall it was a great rv and we really enjoyed our trip.

Both Terence and Greg (other review) went to the exact location only 2 weeks apart!
I will explain a bit - this motorhome is a 2005 model. If you are expecting perfection, please look elsewhere.
The leveling jack was a real problem that I was in the midst of figuring out.
Bluetooth was not a thing in 2005 and the CD player has not been updated but played CDs clearly last I knew and also has a simple remote control! It plays either in the bedroom or up front or both.
We have had a few ants here and there I'm sorry if you found "dozens". This will be checked into.
We did have some issue with the outside lighting where only a few colors worked well. A few colors worked well.
Inside LED is a bonus, works best from power bank or if plugged in to shore power with supplied USB extension cord.
These kind of toilets do not hold water in the bowl, but I will investigate the smell.
The "uncomfortable" seats are from 2005 and are not leather, but other wise as they made them. I think they are very comfortable, but the vehicles I drive are older than 2005.
The adjustable mirrors have been working, but I will check that out as well.
The awning was rolled up backwards and perhaps that had to do with the drip, but will check this out.
I zip tied the ladder so it would not rattle in the breeze. Also access to the roof is not recommended.
The water heater is being fixed and I explained what to do if it turned off.
I'm sorry Terence that your experience was sub-par.

Very comfortable. Lots of storage and big canopy. Easy going host does a thorough walk through so you know pretty much everything you need to know. Can't wait to do it again! It was awesome!
