Colter Adventure Co. has always been about outdoor skills and experiences. Being outside in nature is the best lab in the world for learning! Skills like identifying edible plants, starting fires with traditional flint and steel or understanding the value of a good knot. So many of the empowering and life defining moments I have had were on mountain tops or wilderness area trails. I want to give people the same opportunities I have had to learn and find joy and wonder in nature. colteradventure.com

John's camper was performed our week long trip. It was as described and more comfortable than we expected it to be. He provided us with all the required camping gear, cutlery, vessels and a lot more. Car drives like a charm, very well maintained subi... Will definitely rent from John again in the future.

We had the most amazing week in John's subaru touring the Olympic Peninsula. We split our time between dispersed sites in the National Forest taking advantage of his well-appointed setup (so thoughtfully set up! Everything you need was included) and established campgrounds so that we could refill our water and dump our trash. We would do it again tomorrow if we could, and would love to rent again in the future to explore other beautiful areas within striking distance of Seattle.

John’s rig is amazing - we loved every minute of our trip! He was super accesible, incredibly kind, and didn’t hesitate to give me his personal number in case anything went wrong. I can’t recommend this experience enough!

We had an awesome experience on our trip with John's Subaru. We spent two weekends in the Seattle/Portland area and visited two national parks. The car was perfect and the tent was super easy to setup and take down. It was comfortable and cozy. Perfect size for two tall adults (we are 6'2" and 5'8").
The car was perfectly setup for someone like us who was visiting from out of town and didnt need to bring anything. John had all the necessary supplies for camping organized perfectly in the car.

I cannot begin to explain how easy this whole set up is. John makes it very easy to understand and he has lots of helpful suggestions. I will rent from him again on my next trip to Washington!

WOW! Such an incredible experience renting the Subaru from John. The iKamper tent was super simple to set up and John walked us through the process. John provided everything we needed for the camping experience- sleeping bags, camp stove, and cookware.

John was very helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. The setup of the vehicle/camping gear was great and well thought out. He was very open to feedback on how to improve it, and though we had little to add, he still noted it for the next guests.
