Great way to see the island! We added the beach package which we used often. And we utilized the door netting and the shades for privacy at night. Enjoyed it enough that we may look for vans for future trips to other areas!

The perfect trip. Van was packed with everything we could need and more. So many useful details, it really seems like everything was thought of, and made the trip extremely smooth. Would come back tomorrow if I could.

We had such a wonderful experience! The pick-up and drop-off went perfectly, the van was fantastic and very well equipped and we had a great time touring around! Communication was fantastic, we felt very supported the whole time - thanks again!

Best trip! Great couple to coordinate with, gave helpful ideas of what to see on the island, we’re informative about the van and how to operate. Van drove great, gave us the opportunity for a once in a lifetime trip!

Kim and Paul were wonderful and communicative. The van was well stocked and had everything we needed for a magical week touring the Big Island. Paul even let us know when Mt Kilauea was erupting so we had the opportunity to go see it; so thankful for that experience. They are open to any kind of questions or support while you are out and about with their van, although we didn’t find a need to contact them. The van had no problems and was comfortable for our trip- I recommend taking advantage of some of the amazing hipcamp sites available on the island as some folks have properties they are sharing with you that you wouldn’t be able to see otherwise. We had so much fun and I couldn’t have imagined seeing the Big Island any other way.

First time renting a campervan in big island, kinda nervous at the beginning, but we have to say that it was an amazing trip with this Mercedes Sprinter, we camped in multiple campsites around the big island. This campervan is easy to drive, powerful turbo diesel engine, great fuel economy, thoughtfully designed interior. We had ZERO problem with the A/C, backup battery, nor the butane system for cooking. The most important thing is that the owners are the nicest people in the world! Kimberly is such a caring person, she communicated with us constantly, helped with our trip planning, she even gave us an extra blanket after she know we were going to visit Mauna loa mountain! Thanks to that, we had a great star watching experience on the top of the mountain! Paul is also a super nice guy, all he cares about is whether we had a good vacation. We were able to pick up and drop off the campervan at the airport which is so convenient to us. Definitely recommend to rent with Paul and Kimberly, don't miss the genuine aloha hospitality.
