The host was super helpful in providing tips and assistance throughout the trip! It’s certainly a huge camper but it made the trip very comfortable. This is a unique way to explore Oahu in a local style. Love it!

I had a great time. RV is really good and comfortable it has a lot of space inside, and all camping gear that you need. The camper is a little old so you might have some unpredictable situations. In my case solar battery died and I couldn’t use vans electricity for a few days. The host was very nice guy, he managed to fix the problem as soon as possible and I got reimbursed accordingly.
Overall I had awesome trip, and I would recommend Big Kahuna! 😁

William was a fantastic host with his van ‘The Big Kahuna’. We had a great time travelling around most of Oahu for the 4 nights we had the van, it was a great home on wheels! thanks William!

This was a fun rig to have on the island! Not easy to park in tight parking places (like going to the grocery store), but great for "beach-side -- let's-go-play in the surf days"! We parked it at Sun Farm each of our 3 night rental and drove it to beaches around the island chasing the sun throughout those days (not efficient on gas and gas was expensive - get ready for a sticker shock when you fill it up at the end of your rental). Favorite beach place to park it was Keawaula (Yokohama) Beach at the end of the road on the leeward side (above Makaha). Didn't use the shower (used the showers at the beaches instead) and didn't use the gas stove, but loved discovering the boogie board and a few other items in the back to use. Solar power was adequate for cabin lights at night, but not to power the refrigerator overnight. Smelled fine (no smoke smell!) Plenty of room for all our luggage and cooler was nice to have for our food. Only downside was the ledges overhung the bed and we banged our head a few times. The Big Kahuna definitely helped us out with our hippy vibe! Would rent again!

The big Kahuna delivered! Took him out for a week while paragliding, surfing and attending a conference. William (owner) was responsive and helpful when we had some cloudy days with the solar system. Plenty of storage room! The bed was quite comfortable for two tall people. Love the classic style of this sportsmobile

The van was very spacious and offered us all we needed. The host was amazing and very fast about getting back us. Pick-up and Drop-off of the van was super easy. It's a great way to enjoy the north shore!!!! Load yp your boards and leave your worries behind.
