We were incredibly disappointed with our RV rental experience. From the moment we picked it up, the owner was quick to list all the things that were wrong or broken, including the generator, air conditioner, and cabinets—none of which were mentioned in the post. On day one, we discovered that we had no water. Initially, we thought the tank wasn’t full, but it turned out to be a persistent issue. This forced us to change our off-grid plans (the whole point of renting an RV for a national park vacation) and find locations where we could plug in.However, even when plugged in, the water would leak inside and out, and the tank wouldn't stay full. The air conditioner didn’t work, adding to our discomfort. The front windshield also had a huge crack, which was not disclosed beforehand. My kids suffered multiple nosebleeds from the heat.We tried to file a complaint with Outdoorsy, but they bounced us around to different contacts and eventually told us to contact the owner directly. No one provided any assistance since the vehicle was technically drivable. We were left to deal with these issues ourselves and tried to make the best of our trip, despite the conditions. To make matters worse, when we returned home to Miami from Utah, the owner falsely claimed that we had broken all the things she had previously admitted were already broken (we have witnesses to this). She also accused us of stealing her towels and bed sheets, which we didn’t even use. She then stole our deposit. This was the worst experience of our lives. NEVER AGAIN.
