About Julia's RV rentals
I’ve been renting my RV since June 2018. I’ve enjoyed getting to know my renters and hearing of their experiences. It’s great how excited people are looking forward to a new journey. I decided to take a 5500 month long journey last fall. Enjoyed it thoroughly and my 9 yr old Cocker Spaniel adapted well and is my protector. Excited to continue into my 2nd rental season and wish safe travels and new adventures to all!

We enjoyed our stay in this Winne - we didn't go very far, it was used for camping at one campground 20 miles from owners home. In our case, it would have been cheaper to stay in a hotel, but it was very convenient for our needs. Be careful with the antenna, it's difficult to wind down. Not enough communication regarding what to do before returning the RV - I would suggest an individual checklist for each renter to check each item off including instructions so everything is done to owners satisfaction. Renters don't want to take the time to read the entire owners manual. I filled the gas tank even though it was less than 3/4 full when I received it and Julia said I didn't need to. I also left cash for her delivering it to the campsite which I was very grateful. Julia told me she waived a $250 fee for previous renter climbing on the roof. We thought we dumped correctly, but apparently only the grey water. It wasn't clear that there was two different areas to dump. Therefore we were charged a dump fee which was not waived. We really did our best to take care of it like it was our own.

realized prior to picking up the rental Dottie was challenged with getting the rental to her site along with her vehicle. I drove the RV to her campsite and set it up for for no additional fee. I missed work and lost a little income....my choice but I know she needed assistance. I also told her she did not have to fill up the gas tank because she seemed uncomfortable and it was only 20 miles away. I was willing to eat the cost of gas. I hooked up the sewer hose and set everything up for her and provided the standard walk through. I told her which handles to pull for grey and black water. It was all set and ready to go. There were laminate checklists in the RV that gave a complete list of everything to check prior to departure. However, she chose to ask a friend to dump the tanks. They were not familiar with RV and the process so they dumped the grey water only. They also left the dump tank doors open and dangling which were susceptible to damage. She had informed me the tanks were empty. However, when checking the levels the black tank was full. I had to take the RV to a dump site the next day and the listing does state there is a dumping fee if the tanks are not emptied. She also requested to drop the RV at 7am when I was not able to be present. The standard drop off is 11am but I was trying to be flexible because she had a long drive ahead of her. The evening before I messaged her an additional check list and asked if she was comfortable with dumping tanks etc...I received no response. The antenna handle was removed and an attempt was made to reattach it incorrectly. I fixed the antenna upon return. In the supplemental agreement it does state no climbing on roof or their could potentially be a fee for damages etc...I tried to do everything I could to help Dottie because I felt she needed the assistance.

We used the RV as a static base during our recent trip to EAA air venture in Oshkosh. The pickup location in Fond du Lac was ideal as previously we had rented an RV from Chicago and had the long drive to site. Contact with Julia before and during the rental was easy and we appreciated the personal touch which comes with dealing directly with an owner. Our overall experience met our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend Julia, the RV and Outdoorsy.

We rented this RV for 7 days and we enjoyed every moment of it. Julia was always there when we needed her and she let us check out the RV before making our decision. We had made lots of memories going to Mt. Rushmore and Lewis & Clark Recreation Park. It drove well and the fill ups were descent. Thank you again Julia for allowing our family to have a fun trip in a safe RV.

We thoroughly enjoyed our RV experience! Julia had the Winne fully serviced and ready for our adventure to AZ and through the Rockies on our way back. We had no issues at all. Gas mileage was decent considering the size of the vehicle. Julia is a great communicator and checked in to make sure everything was going well for us. Highly recommend!

Julia is awesome to work with. She was flexible and very personable. Motorhome was easy to drive even for a newbie. We would definitely rent from her again.
