Great van, compact and easy to drive and park like a minivan, top notch material quality and smart design and space utilization. Roni was very responsive to any inquiry and easy to work with. Would rent again if opportunity exist.

Roni was great to deal with. She thoroughly explained how to operate all the Recon's features: pop top, system control panel, etc. When a question occasionally came up while we were on the road, she always responded quickly and with exactly the info we needed. She provided laminated instruction cards ("cheat sheets") for operating the van. Very helpful! All of the documentation from Recon was also in the van in case we needed that level of detail.

We spent 4 days at Joshua trip with Minta, a Recon Envy campervan, that is very reminiscent of one of my favorite VW westfalia campervans from my youth in the 70's. She is the perfect combination of utility and comfort. I loved that I was able to sleep in the pop top and enjoy almost a 360 degree view of a Joshua Tree sunrise and it's amazing rock formations. Fuel economy is stellar, with an mpg of 25-26 miles per gallon. You can use the awning during the day for shade and then project a movie onto it at night. It can fit into a compact car space and even be parked in your garage, yet able to sleep 2 adults comfortably. It has everything you need save a toilet, but if you need to it is easy enough to bring your own. I did, but never used it. The campsites had facilities that were well maintained.
I want to thank Roni, our host. She loves Minta and Joshua Tree. She was a wealth of knowledge and willing to share it with us.
I rented this campervan in particular because I am considering purchasing one. It did not disappoint.

Minta, the Recon Camper was just the right van to create lifelong memories at Joshua Tree National Park. The van slept comfortably and came with all the necessary amenities for an enjoyable camping experience. It was clean, accessible, and durable throughout the trip. The owner clearly and enthusiastically communicated the aspects of the van and made the pick up and return process easy. As individuals who love camping and the outdoors, we highly recommend Roni Ron’s 2020 Recon Camper Nissan NV200.

The Recon and Roni were both awesome. The vehicle was in excellent condition and was everything we needed in a camper van. It was especially wonderful to have the van when a hailstorm blew through. I would absolutely recommend this Recon and Roni. She was so responsive and helpful through the whole process.

I absolutely loved the Recon van. We took it to the beach and then Joshua Tree for a couple of days. Roni equipped it with everything you might need. As a prior owner of a Class B Sprinter, I appreciated the simplicity and intelligent design of the Recon Envy. The van drove better than I expected and surprisingly better than a Sprinter. We slept one adult on the top and one on the bottom, which was very comfortable for both. Two can sleep on the bottom. Opening and closing the pop top and setting up the bed was easy so it wasn't a problem to setup camp and take down each day I wanted to venture out. The refrigerator worked great and we never came close to using up the battery. Gas mileage was great. The van was delivered very clean with minimal use. Roni was a pleasure to work with and was very communicative and helpful. Overall it was a great experience and I cannot wait for my next adventure in Roni's Recon Envy.
