About Jen

We’re a Salt Lake based family of 5. Mabel is the van we use for our own year-round adventures—with 3 kids, a dog, and ALL That Gear. We love exploring together and appreciate what makes trips easier: using iOverlander to find free BLM campsites with a view, warming homemade stew in the microwave, and using Cabbunks so we don’t have to convert the dinette every day. We bring Twister and glow-in-the-dark Kan Jam for time at camp, and made a reusable state and national park scavenger hunt to keep even our 4-year-old’s eyes glued outside. Mabel is shaped by those experiences. We’re always learning what works, what we actually use, and what makes family travel feel less like parenting elsewhere, more like a family vacation. We want to share that with other families, including the small extras that can make a difference when packing for kids. Tell us who’s coming and what you’re hoping to do.
