In our spare time we love to camp (of course!), backpack, fly-fish, hike, and anything outdoors! Pacific Northwest and the Sierra Nevadas are home but love to travel to new places! We also love sharing our van and providing recommendations to those visiting!

We had the most wonderful experience with John and the van. John was willing to work with our schedule and bend over backwards to make it work. Not an easy task with a newborn!
The van was clean, very well set up with all the gear we could need. Tent super easy to put up and very comfortable! Definitely would rent again when coming to area.

great budget option for our trip!! we were worried about the rain affecting the tent but we stayed dry and the souls of rain on the roof was lovely. host was super communicative and easy to rent from

The van served us very well. It was in great condition and the cooler and the camp chairs were very useful to have. John communicated very well and the pick-up and drop-off at the airport was such a breeze. This was way more user friendly than a car rental.

This van was everything we needed for a 10-day Oregon road trip! John was so accommodating for our very early arrival flight, going out of his way to arrange an airport pickup, and accommodate a later drop-off to align with our schedule. The van was packed with all the camping essentials and more! It made our trip so easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. Plus, everyone who saw the roof nest was envious at the campsites we went to! 11/10 recommend this whole thing🙏🏽

Best trip we’ve ever had! Our family of six had plenty of room when traveling. Two adults slept comfortably with a toddler in the nest. The big kids had a regular tent on the ground. Thanks for the sweet ride!

John’s van was perfect for our anniversary trip through Oregon. We had everything we needed - from the sleeping arrangement to the cooking setup and everything in between. John was quick to answer questions and help us get back on the road after a flat tire. He was super accommodating and picked us up from PDX and arranged a later drop off right at our hotel in Portland. We would absolutely recommend renting from John!

My fiance and i rented johns van for a trip it was an absolute amazing experience. John met us outside our gate at the airport picked us up took us to a nearby parking lot to give us a rundown of the van and how it all worked then we were off. From the redwoods in California, to Crater lake, to the sand dunes in Florence to mt Hood where there was snow. We had great nights of sleep thanks to the roof nest and johns well equiped van with all you need for camping! The roof nest was the best experience by far it was awesome! John then met us at our hotel to pick the van up it was so pleasant and easy. I would definitely recommend john and his van to anyone who is looking for an adventure

John made our first rental through Outdoorsy a breeze. John was quick to respond to all questions and offered suggestions for sites to see in Oregon. The van was stocked with all the essentials needed for a positive camping experience. The lil mini van was a trusted steed as we trekked our way all around Oregon. Thankful for good gas mileage and a warm roof nest! Thanks again John!

This was perfect for our trip. John was super flexible, quick to respond, and made sure we had everything we needed. The van ran great, the gear worked nicely. Would only suggest an aux adapter for lightning cable :)

We had a great time renting this vehicle. John was great with communication and provided everything you could want, and some that you didn't thinking of, with the rental. Everything was as described and pictured. John was very helpful.

Very nice owner and it worked out well for our trip. He even threw in a solar shower which saved us since so many showers were closed when we went.

This was the perfect camping trip option for my boyfriend and I. We flew into PDX, John picked us up right there and on time. Easier than a rental car and renting gear from REI, and cheaper and easier to drive than a RV.Seamless. The car tent is awesome and we are looking at buying one now. Allowed us to camp at campgrounds around Mt Hood and off the beaten path also. He had thought of everything. We took pictures of their gear because it came with everything we needed. Absolutely phenomenal trip!
