I'm 52 years old, and I've lived and travelled all over the world. The two weeks I spent exploring Utah in this vehicle were some of the best moments of my life. For starters, it's Utah, so you can't go wrong on landscapes and adventure, but the VEHICLE and equipment made the experience exceptionally smooth and rewarding. JP has thought of absolutely everything, which meant that I just needed to throw a few clothes into a backpack before boarding my flight to Salt Lake City. JP also answered my questions and offered helpful advice before and during my trip. He really is genuinely motivated to help folks have the best possible experience in his beloved state. I tried hard to give him feedback that might help improve the rig, but I failed. It was too perfect. Some equipment that I especially appreciated: the enormous refrigerator, nicely curated kitchen tools (not too much, just enough), ample water supply in the tank, exceptionally capable high-clearance 4X4 vehicle, awesome grippy tires, fantastic rooftop tent that felt like a personal treehouse (with super comfy bedding), GPS and emergency satellite radio, and more. I fell in love with this adventuremobile and felt a little misty when I returned it to JP. I can't wait to rent from him again.

Amazing vehicle, completely outfitted with everything I needed. All I had to do was bring clothes and pick up groceries. BaseCamper went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. I'll definitely be back.

JP was great and we could really tell that he wanted us to enjoy the vehicle and cared about our experience. He provides a great instructional video along with everything you need to go out and explore. ROVRR was exactly what we were looking for to explore the national parks and the dispersed camping in the area. We would definitely rent from JP again.

Amazing experience. Base Camper delivered a high quality vehicle, logistics & coordination was super smooth, and host took some time to hear about our plans and provide some tips that were very appreciated.

Great experience! Finding and renting a vehicle was effortless using BaseCamper. Everything that was advertise with the vehicle was there. Picking up and dropping off the car was super easy as the location is not too far from the airport and downtown Salt Lake city. The owner of the vehicle was communicative and flexible offering guidance and advice for our trip and places to visit. As I look forward to other overlanding adventure I will definitely return to use BaseCamper to find vehicles.

Having tried out the BaseCamper for 5 days across half of Utah, I can confirm that the unit is really well thought out, usable space. The Toyota proved to be surprisingly good on fuel as well. The tent is very easy to set up and comfortable. The integrated cooler was very handy for keeping food safely chilled.
Most importantly though, the owner JP provided about and beyond customer service. Prior to our arrival, he reached out multiple times to ensure we were comfortable with the process and upon arrival, provided a complete walk around and explained features that we may have missed in the videos. He has even added the videos to the Garmin unit for offline reference should anyone need while setting up later. Overall a great experience and we would absolutely utilize BaseCamper on our next trip to Utah.

JP was gracious and responsive to all of our needs. The vehicle was amazingly well thought-out and equipped. Every thing was clean and well maintained - I would rent again from JP without hesitation. If heading to more isolated areas you could not have a better vehicle.

Great SUV capable of navigating tough trails with complete ease. Very clean and well maintained. Great communication with JP before the trip, informative videos of how to set up the tent and use various equipment in the car. Our first night in the tent (Canyonlands) and We had heavy rain and winds all night long. No problems at all, no water in the tent either. Had 2 adults and a 4 year old in the car and We all loved it.

JP was an amazing host. He was very communicative before during and after and helped us along the way. Pre trip he helped us plan out a route. He was flexible with the starting time for the rental as well as the drop off. His 4runner was in great condition and had everything we needed to make it a comfortable trip. We did have a slight hiccup on the first day with one of the rear hatch struts breaking. JP was extremely quick to communicate and pointed us out to the nearest toyota dealership which luckily was close by and open. We were able to get new hatch struts installed which allowed us to continue the trip without issue. When it came time to pack up and drop off JP was kind enough to give us a ride to the airport. I would overall rate JP a 10/10 and would not hesitate to rent from him again.

JP is the man - he helped get two novice campers squared away on the where, when, and how of Utah camping adventures. We had a blast exploring southern and eastern parts of the state, even managing to find a gem on his Garmin that he hadn't been to yet! This vehicle has all the tech and amenities you could ask for and there is zero haggling along the way. Also, it was incredibly nice to not be plastered like a billboard driving around the state. Unlike some more, eclectic styles and blatant ads on wheels, we were more often mistaken for the crunchy Utahns who do this type of adventure on the reg. Thanks for making us feel legit!
