Fantastic first experience in a camper van. The 4 of us had a great time even when the weather turned and the rain came down. Lots of storage for all we needed to take away. Really well equipped kitchen equipment - loved the ridge monkey for frying. Thank you for the helpful videos to remind us how things worked although it was all straight forward in the end. Hope to see you again soon! Tracey, Bryan and the girls.

The van and Phil were fabulous. Everything that you could possible need and more! Phil was thorough and courteous and even answered my text when I had a silly moment and forgot something. For the last few months we’ve been thinking of buying a camper van. Specifically the Volkswagen California Ocean.
Before we take the expensive plunge and buy one we decided to hire one for a couple of nights.
We found Ocean Mist Campers on the vwcaliforniaclub site and hired their 2017 ‘dog friendly’ model, Phil the owner was such a friendly and helpful guy.
They provided us with everything we needed for the weekend.
At the end we didn’t want to hand the van back :)
We would highly recommend Ocean Mist Campers to anyone thinking of hiring a California Ocean, the service couldn’t have been any better.

From start to finish, we had a great experience with Ocean Mist Campers. The campervan was really well appointed and had everything we needed for our weekend away with the dogs. We enjoyed it so much we are looking at renting the campervan again in the summer.
