Experience Fall in Alaska — From Your Own Camper VanSeptember is one of Alaska’s most beautiful times to explore. The summer crowds begin to disappear, the mountains turn gold, the nights get dark enough for northern lights, and you still have the freedom to explore by road. This Pleasure-Way Excel TS gives you a warm, comfortable home base for a fall Alaska adventure — with a king-size bed, furnace, private bathroom, kitchen, hot water and onboard generator.Built on the Ford E-350 chassis with a Triton V10, it’s much easier to drive and park than a large motorhome while still giving you the comforts of an RV.Wake up near the mountains, make hot coffee and breakfast inside, spend the day exploring or fishing, and come back to a warm camper at night.Comfortably Sleeps 2The spacious rear seating area converts into a king-size bed, giving two adults considerably more sleeping room than you’ll find in many camper vans.Perfect for Fall Alaska• Northern lights trips

We had a fantastic 11 night stay in this RV. It drove great and we slept well on the comfortable bed. Liz, the host was very communicative, friendly, thoughtful and considerate. We had zero issues with our stay even being self contained and not being connected to any shore power on our trip. TIPS: We brought a 12v extension cord(cigarette lighter male/female type) to be able to plug phones in and have them at our sides while in bed and doubled as power for my cpap machine(worked perfectly). Refrigerator runs on ac/dc or propane and works well. Use the propane if not on shore power to prevent dead house battery. We did not use the shower but it is available as we had other bathing options. We own a travel trailer and have rented class C motor homes before but never a class B(van style). Now that we have experienced the compactness and being able to park anywhere, we are seriously considering a switch to something like this. Give Liz and her RVs a chance while visiting Alaska and you won't be ddisappointed. We will be return customers in the future if we do this trip again. Fuel mileage- The V10 has plenty of power. We averaged 11-12 mpg over 1200 miles. Food for thought.
