2015 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY
The 2015 Chrysler Town & Country van a perfect option to see Alaska on the road. It has inside storage space underneath the bed, under the rear kitchen and other areas inside the van. The tent topper also has small soft storage for linens.Nanook sits 2 in the front and two in the rear. The rear seats collapse into the floor to allow for space for the slide out bed. When using, the rear seat floor compartments provide good sized storage. Total seating capacity for the van is 4 people. The cabin bed sleeps up to 2 and the pop up tent sleeps up to 2 and is accessed using a provided ladder.The windows have curtains around the bed/sleeping area to provide privacy. for ventilation the rear side windows slide down and bug netting is provided to attach to the exterior using magnets for ventilation without the mosquitos.Van comes equipped with a built in refrigerator operated from a wired in house battery that comes with charging ports for your devices. To recharge the battery, simply drive daily or plug into shore power hookup using a provided extension cord. This van also contains two burner stove, sink, water tank, pot and pan, glasses, plates, bowls, and utensils. This was the best. Josh was great on the phone giving me lots of good advice. Pat was great picking us up and the low down on the van. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend Ak Family Motorhomes to anyone. We had a blast seeing the state. The kids were comfortable in the tent above and even stayed dry in the rain storms. Having the fridge was a great convenance. Loved every minute of it.

Rented a fully decked out van with a power source battery, camp sink, and refrigerator as we were camping off the grid for a number of days. Our van had all these things but none were functional. When we picked up the van we were told the battery was just not charged and that after driving for a few hours the battery would be charged and all functions would work. The battery ended up never being functional and 10 days into my 20-day trip, when we met the owner and exchanged the vehicle, he admitted they were aware that the van we were given was not functional. They just never thought girls would go off the grid camping.

Hi April, Thanks for the response. As you know, we take any defects very seriously. The van was perfectly functional except for a failed charge circuit to the ecoflow battery system that powers the refrigerator and two lights. Early on your trip, it was discovered that the battery system was not recharging correctly. I responded immediately and gave some tips on how to recharge it using ac plug in. Even though you acknowledged later being able to receive my initial text message you gave No response until 5 days later and by this time us you were leaving Fairbanks AK (7 hours away) and we suggested going to REI to get a replacement that we offered to pay for. After your initial response, I was in constant contact with you via the app and my preferred method of texting. You decided to continue on using ice in the cooler towards Tok and Glennallen and Valdez. We let you know there were no replacement ecoflows available except in Anchorage and Fairbanks. You then went on the ferry from Valdez to whittier. We then mutually determined the best place to meet you was outside of Whittier where we exchanged the van for another identical van and you continued your trip. There was no interruption of your plans except for an inconvenience of having to use ice. Please note that as we discussed, I gave you a larger percentage of refund than you asked for due to the inconvenience . We have since discovered a defect in the van cigarette plug and repaired as needed. We send out plenty of groups camping off the grid (All girls included) and we like all our units functioning perfectly all the time for all our customers. Sorry for the issue.
