Exceptionally disappointing experience renting RV from Trailhead. I should’ve paid closer attention to other reviews here. For starters, the listing claims their RV is “Brand New”. After renting one, I found that description to be woefully misleading in my opinion for the following reasons: 1. The odometer read close to 14,000 miles. Not sure what one would consider cutoff for being brand new. 2. The kitchen stove did not work. They conveniently let me know literally at the last minute before handing over the keys. When I explained I have 2 toddlers who require a fully functioning kitchen (and main reason why I chose this particular RV), I was mortified when the guy asked me to “deal with it”, and use the outside camping stove. Bad customer service doesn’t even cut it. And not a feature of a “brand new” RV. 3. The bathroom door latch came apart mid-journey, with doors flapping around. Not something you would you’d expect from a “brand new” RV. 4. The water heater did not work despite fiddling with the controls. I reached out to Outdoorsy customer service and they advised to start a dispute. Overall, absolutely atrocious experience! I’ll try other rentals next time.

We had a great family trip with the RV. The host was extremely helpful and communicative. They really made it that much better. All around great time.
