The Ultimate Family Travel Van! 19 ft Rear Wheel drive Turbo diesel Mercedes. Pop Top RV Conversion by Sportsmobile. Seats 7 with seatbelts. Sleeps 4. Drop down flatscreen TV with separate audio feed to speakers and headphones. (Here ya go kids) Ample media connectivity. Cabin A/C, Fridge, microwave. 4x 360 deg. swivel captains chairs with optional center table. Swing out rear bumpers with extra storage box. Rear shower with hot/cold capabilites. The cabin AC will get down to 75 degrees while plugged into 30 amp sites. Al electrical including, shower, microwave, outlets, and AC will run wonderfully. This van has the flexibility to park at the Metropolitan Museum in NYC (we've done it) to comfortable remote elm camping in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Good for long stays at sites with shore power or overnight stays on long drives. Drives incredibly smooth for it's size, and the turbo diesel will get you 18mpg on the highway.What's includedThe RV comes fully equipped with all the cords, cassette toilet , toilet paper, deodorizer tablets, cleaning supplies, hand broom and dust pan. Also included with the rental at no additional cost are: toolbox with essential tools for van. We also have a space heater and electric blankets for colder weather. Rear hot/cold shower with water hook up. RecommendationsThis van is so easy to drive, you can really go anywhere in it. The kids will be entertained for hours watching DVDs with headphones, while you listen to podcasts up front. The whole family can watch together at night after long hikes or rainy days camping.Other things to noteDelivery range is no more than 30 miles from North Austin at $3/mile with a minimum $30 fee. The same fee structure applies if you need me to pick up the RV upon return.I have one pick up location located on the corner of Anderson lane and North Lamar Blvd.Pick-up/start time will be arranged based on Renter/Owner schedule.
Return time is before 3PM on return date unless discussed beforehand.A few things to note:
- Insurance and website fees are additional costs that are not included in the daily rate. To get a total cost, you can proceed through the checkout process or request a quote.
- 100 miles/day are included in the rental. Additional miles are charged at $0.50 mile.
- The RV comes with a full fuel tank. If you return the RV the same way, there are no additional fees/costs other than for excess miles and any damage. Otherwise, it's $2.75/gallon for fuel. The RV must be returned in decent condition or you will be charged $100 for a cleaning fee.Important ***We are festival friendly except for Burning Man Festival.

Most of the below rules are discussed elsewhere in the agreement, and may be discussed at orientation or are just common sense, but let’s be on the same page. We will provide information on the operation of the 2012 Mercedes Sprinter Conversion Van at the time of pickup, and will provide instruction manuals/tutorials for the operation of coach systems, features, and appliances. It is the renter's responsibility to understand and follow instructions. (You can call us though, really..we love to help) Failure to use proper handling of any of the systems, features, or appliances in RV may result in damage, and renter will be liable for the cost to repair.
No Smoking is allowed inside the vehicle, or your entire security deposit will be retained to have the RV professionally cleaned. Respect to those who like to smoke, but just not in the van please. We suggest Renters purchase the Outdoorsy Damage Protection Plan that offers an additional 1500.00 of interior protection in addition to the Security Deposit for longer rentals of a week or more. (It’s cheaper than re-upholstering a couch or replacing the roof tent)
Please return the van as clean as you got it to avoid an additional 100.00 cleaning fee. For example, taking your trash out, sweeping out the van, collecting your belongings, cleaning out the fridge. Sanitizing is not necessary. Renter is responsible for any tickets or tolls even if the notice arrives after the security deposit has been released. Outdoorsy will notify you. Tire damage is the responsibility of the renter while in your possession. If the renter believes it is due to owner negligence, the tire must be brought back for a neutral, professional evaluation. Reimbursement is based on that result. We are very good about checking out tires condition before renting it out. If there is a mechanical failure or problem requiring roadside assistance, the renter should call the roadside assistance purchased through the rental, and alert the owner i

We had a wonderful experience! The RV is easy to drive. Alison and her husband did a great job walking me through all the ins and outs of navigating how everything worked. We didn’t have any issues at all. We really enjoyed sleeping up top we had a cool breeze with the windows open and didn’t need to run the AC at night. The fridge kept everything cold. We brought a small keurig to make coffee. We really enjoyed all of it.

We had a great road trip to Big Bend in this camper van! It was an easy way to travel with 2 young kids and stay organized. Super easy to drive. Alison was a lovely host, very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!
