Communication is SUPER important to me, you probably cannot communicate too much. I'd much rather you communicate than have a surprise. So please do and I will too :-) Glamping or RV Camping is my kind of camping :-) When I was a kid I belonged to a Pathfinder group - similar to Cubs or Scouts and we would do fun things and camping was one of them. But the night there was a heavy downpour and my sleeping bag was floating around me (the days before tents had a sowed in floor, though I doubt it would have made much difference), I think I decided, unconsciously, that it was not really something I liked doing. Fast forward 40+ years and here we are enjoying RVing. I have a dog who's come along on a boondocking weekend, but he is somewhat restrictive, i.e. we wanted to go on a boardwalk hike, but dogs were prohibited (and too hot to leave him in a closed up trailer. So probably going to leave him behind in future. The kids like it if they have their devices, but that's not really what camping is about. Though it does fit in the glamping model. My favorite RV trip to date has been Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument in a rented Cruise America RV. Those places are incredible and an RV allows you to keep your comforts close and still enjoy the wilder side.
