This Camp-Ready Honda Element can really tie your trip together.
This is a simple and dependable ride with a certain "dirt-baggin' " flare that exists harmoniously with the Montana wilderness. It has fairly low mileage for a cult classic that can usually scoot past 300k! It will get you to where you're going comfortably. Donny is a smooth operator at 70-80 mph and a scrappy and durable overlander on the rough Montana backroads. It/he/they/them has a new motor and new bushings so, again... smooth and dependable.Perched atop this hip, yet square vehicle is a new Silverwing rooftop tent. When this baby pops up, it's a whole new realm of comfort and spaciousness (Soooo much room for activities). Soft, fluffy, and clean bedding/pillows are provided for this RTT that can easily sleep 2... and not as easily sleep 2 and a half humans.Do you want to fry up some morels and chanterelles you just foraged? Maybe you trapped a wild pack of chicken thighs? Donny has everything you need to cook and dish up a Michelin-star meal.
Equipped with a 32-gallon Rtic cooler (inside it, a basket for things you want to keep UN-moist), a slide-out camp box that rests perfectly on the tailgate while you become a master of the two-burner propane stove, a bamboo dining table with place settings for 4-5 people, and a 5-gallon freshwater tank that spouts into a dish sink for a seamless cook-serve-eat-clean culinary hero's journey. You don't need a wordy run-on sentence to understand this kitchen setup HAS IT ALL!Now, after 20 laser-focused minutes... your easy, breezy, beautiful camp is all set and you have nothin' but time to spend touching grass and stompin' trail. We will throw in a Gallatin Valley hiking trail book and a deck of Grateful Dead-themed playing cards (probably some jammy CDs hanging out in the center console too). The mountains are your therapeutic sanctuary.Oh yeah, we can throw in a portable shitter too. Butt it's extra.-What IS Included-IN THE Tent

5We're so glad we rented Donny - great experience. The setup/takedown of the rooftop tent was shockingly easy, so much so that I was fully convinced I wasn't doing it properly. Super well-appointed with all the camping basics included - this was a pleasant surprise. Perfect for anyone - I've been lucky enough to spend many nights in the backcountry, while this was my fiancé's first time camping in any fashion - Donny was great for both of us.

5Drew was an incredible host. Super helpful dealing with all my requests and needs (for example ordering Amazon packages to his house, providing extra boxes when we asked etc etc) Donny was a really fun car, perfect for our trip. The rooftop tent was really comfortable and so easy to set up. Cooking was a breeze, the camp chairs and table came in handy all the time, as did Donny’s high clearance on some rough roads. The seats were comfortable and roomy, the car functioned 100% as it should. Only downside for us was that we needed a bit more space in the back for our stuff - I would not recommend bringing too much stuff like we did or renting a huge scope. Other than that, really couldn’t have asked for more in a car rental.

5Renting "Donny" was the best decision we made for traveling in Yellowstone! We spent 6 nights sleeping in the pop-up tent on top of the car, and it was perfect. There were two of us, I'm 5'11'' and my wife is 5'3'', and we fit very comfortably in the pop-up tent with room to spare. The bedding included was clean, comfortable, and warm (it dropped to 40°F at night). The tent was very easy to set up and break down, which was terrific when we arrived at camp late after a beautiful day in the park and wanted to leave early to catch sight of the wolves! All the included camp items were perfect inclusions for exploring the national park. The cooking and dining items made it incredibly easy to cook a quick breakfast before hitting the road, enjoy a hot meal at a picnic area along a river, or enjoy a long dinner back at camp. Everything was effortless to set up and break down, just like the tent. As for the car itself, it is roomy, has nice big windows for taking in the views, drives great through the valleys and the mountains, and is the perfect size for squeezing into any crowded parking areas you might stumble across. I genuinely can't say enough great things about renting this vehicle from Drew. He was a great host, and this was a great vehicle. I can't recommend it enough, and when we come back, I will try to rent again from Drew. Do yourself a favor and take a spin through The Rockies in "Donny," you won't regret it!

5We had such a great experience renting Donny! Everything provided was simple and functional, perfect for on-the-go exploring with touches of comfort. It was a nice blend of connecting with nature but not roughing it too hard. Donny handled every situation along with good gas milage. We visited Yellowstone and the Tetons for ten days, camping on and off between hotels. We loved the small details like old school binoculars that we used every day. It was great to have the water jug for daily use, and ziplock bags for leftovers. The bed pad was surprisingly comfortable. Some nights it got down to 30 degrees and we were plenty warm with the blankets provided. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Thanks for the trip Donny!
