2006 Keystone Cougar
Our 34 foot Keystone Cougar is perfect for your family vacation! It comfortably sleeps 8 with a private master bedroom in the front, bunk beds in the rear, a new fold out couch, and dining area that converts to sleep 2 more.
The super slide expands to make the kitchen and living room a great area to cook and entertain. There is a 3 burner gas stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and a dual sink. There is a flatscreen TV in the living room and surround sound.
The large bathroom has a shower/tub combination with a large vanity and skylight.
The master bedroom has sliding pocket doors for privacy with plenty of drawer and cabinet storage. We have upgraded to a new top of the line mattress for a great nights sleep. All windows have functional day/ night shades for privacy. The large rear bunkhouse has its own slide with a TV and DVD player.
We have fully stocked the trailer with everything you need for your trip! Our trailer includes: pillows, blankets, linens, dishware, cups, cutlery, coffee maker, vacuum, cleaning supplies, outdoor mat, and the propane is included in your rental.
Our goal is for you to have a worry free and enjoyable trip in our trailer! We have taken the lessons we have learned from renting and have made it a truly turn-key experience. You will spend your time enjoying our camper and not stressing over it! We will show you how everything functions and provide detailed instructions in case you need it. We will always be accessible 24/7 during your rental to assist you in anyway.
The trailer weighs 7225lbs empty and the Gvwr is 9565lbs. Your rental includes our weight distributing hitch. It can be towed by most 1/2 ton trucks/SUV’s but make sure yours is rated for it. Q.What vehicle can I tow this with?
A.
Most 1/2 ton trucks like the F-150 can tow this. 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks such as the F-250 and F-350 will have no problems. Empty the trailer weights 7,400lbs but is rated up to 9,565lbs. Please make sure your vehicle is rated to tow 9,565lbs and has a trailer brake controller.
Q.Will you help us hooking this up to our truck?
A.
We provide every rental with a complete walk through. This includes all of the campers functions, hookups, and if you are towing - we will walk you through this as well. We will provide you with our weight distributing hitch and anti-sway bar. We will show you how to connect and disconnect from your tow vehicle and provide you with an opportunity to ask as many questions/ practice as many times as you wish. We are also only a phone call/text message away during your trip!
Q.How is your delivery fee calculated?
A.
We base our fee on the 2 round trips that we have to make. Then we calculate in tolls and other fees that we are charged. We don't charge for our time and the delivery fee includes setting the camper up for you once we arrive. When we pick it up at the end of the rental, we will break it down and empty the tanks. This is all included in the delivery fee.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Dry camping, as in no hookups, is not the best use for our camper. To really enjoy it you must have a generator or have a camp site that has "full hookups." When booking your camp site please look for ones that have electric, water and sewer connections. Some state parks will only allow generator usage during the day so it can be uncomfortable at night without the A/C running.
