Review summary
Flexible, supportive, but occasionally cancels
Peter is praised for his helpfulness, patience with changes, thorough explanations, and availability for questions, making it easy for first-time RVers. However, he canceled one booking on the day of departure.
Easy to drive, handles well
Guests praise its ease of handling, horsepower for climbing, and good gas mileage. However, one rental reported a cracked windshield, smelly water tanks, dirty supplies, and a refrigerator that froze food.

2.0Took this rental to a reunion. Day of trip to collect noticed a crack across most of windshield. Then as looking at fridge the owner said yeah the “racks are rusted and dropping debris in the bottom.” We took van. Upon setting and loading there was a large container of miscellaneous equipment and then in cabinets a variety of old cooking supplies some looked dirty. On arrival to camp area, we were going to cook food, however the water tank or gray tank emitted a distinct rotten egg smell. So although water was described as non pure. We were afraid to use it as hand washing or dishes cleaning. The refrigerator thermostat not be working as intended because on day three everything was frozen on the top two racks. We determined This van is not suitable for camping. Because the refrigerator not maintaining temps and the water and wastewater system being smelly and completely unsuitable for sanitation or cleaning. Combined with the windshield damage it would seem this is unsafe and not properly maintained.

5.0My family and I greatly enjoyed Peter's RV! This was our first time using one and we had a blast touring New Mexico in this RV. We loved it so much and hope to rent from Peter again for our next adventure to the Pacific Coast Highway!

5.0Peter was very helpful and informative through the entire trip. He made himself available and was patient when I needed to change my dates of the trip. The Winnebago performed perfectly the entire trip. Good gas mileage and well maintained. Highly recommend!!!

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We can discuss based on schedules, costs and difficulty. Hey, if it can be done why not?
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
This is about as easy as an rv gets. You will be provided with video links that cover the vehicle extensively along with manuals and cheat sheets. Key is to go slow and double check yourself.
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Simply plug into marked 30 or 50 amp service. Do not plug into ANY household plug and turn on AC. Water just screw in or use the pre-filled tank. Gray tank hooks up easily. Toilet is a cassette for easy empty. Instructions will be provided.
Q.
Extras/amenities?
A.
Comes with soaps, TP, cleaning supplies., TV/DVD. Folding table to use as bed extension and/or picnics. Extra fans. Some people don’t want or need things like sheets, dishes, cookware, towels, coolers, chairs, awning, etc. These are all available for a small fee to cover loading/unloading, cleaning and processing everything. The charges are per trip, not per day or any set time period. Tell me what you want or don’t want ( for example, table may take up space you need) and we make it happen!
