Review summary

Owner Responsiveness and Communication
Renters consistently praise the owner, Tim, for his excellent communication, responsiveness, and accommodating nature. He is noted for being friendly, providing detailed explanations and walkthroughs, offering helpful recommendations for trips, and being flexible with pickup/drop-off times. Several reviews highlight instances where Tim went above and beyond, such as assisting with lost gear, offering rides, or sending instructional videos, making the rental process smooth and stress-free.
Vehicle Condition and Amenities
The vehicle's condition, including its reliability and equipped amenities, is a frequently mentioned characteristic. Despite being an older van, renters often state it 'handled well and held up great through multiple national parks' and was 'extremely reliable and easy to drive.' The integrated features such as the kitchen system (fridge, stove, sink), comfortable sleeping arrangements, and ample storage are appreciated. While a few minor points like a shaking steering wheel or the need for more comprehensive linens were noted, the van is generally considered well-maintained, practical, and suitable for adventurous trips.

5.0Tim was great and communicative. We did have some trouble with the house electrical system, but to be fair we aren't 100% sure if we missed something relevant and caused the issues ourselves (Tim had to hand off giving us the usual walkthrough before our trip began to someone else, so there may have been a miscommunication). The kitchen system worked great. The ceiling fan inlet was really nice to have at night. There's plenty of storage. They were super accommodating when some of our gear got swiped by the TSA. While it's an older vehicle that is a little more awkward to drive, once we got the hang of it it honestly handled well and held up great through multiple national parks. Compared to an RV it's also very nice to be able to park it in nearly-normal-sized parking spots. Overall we were very grateful to be able to use this well-priced and well-thought-out vehicle to explore parks too far from home to bring our own! A big thanks to Tim and Keiko!

4.0Tim was awesome, he picked me up on time and explained everything. I would recommend in the future he build a video showing how to do this, cuz it took about 35 minutes and I needed to get on my way to the concert venue I was going to. He met me at airport on time for me to turn back over the keys too. The van worked, it never broke down. It is old, but it did the trick for what I needed. The steering wheel shook, which made me nervous at 1st but I got used to it. I found it odd that Tim literally had to put his mouth on the sink faucet to suck the water out so it started to flow, he should fix that so it is sanitary and you don't have to do that. I would also HIGHLY recommend he bring clean linens for the bed. The van came with no fitted sheet or top sheet, only a washable mattress type cover. He only provided two blankets and two pillows, one blanket of which he told me had not been washed. He should 100% offer fresh linens when renting his sleeper van. I asked if he provided linens and he said yes, so I didn't bring anything. Price was right and Tim was avail for all questions. Good experience but I would amend the things listed about so this is a 5 star rental experience moving forward :) Thank you Tim for sharing your home on wheels!

5.0We had a great trip with Tim's van in the North Cascades. Tim was very responsive and helpful with recommendations for our trip. That made a big difference for us. The van is exactly as advertised.

5.0We had a great experience with the campervan! Tim was very friendly and provided a detailed overview before we left to ensure we knew how to work everything. He was very accommodating with our pick up/drop off times. The van has many nice features like a sink, comfy bed, camping stove, dishes, fridge, fan, bluetooth stereo, etc. Tim went above and beyond ensure we were comfortable! He even offered us a ride to the Link train to get back to the airport and mailed something I forgot in the van. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a van starting in Seattle.

5.0Tim absolutely saved us when our originally rented van broke down 5 days prior to our trip. He was very communicative and more than willing to help us in a last minute pinch. This van held up beautifully driving all over the PNW on various terrains, was surprisingly comfortable to sleep in, and had everything we needed! Definitely recommend!
