This is a very capable teardrop trailer manufactured by Bean. The trailer was custom built and includes the best upgrades. Check out their site for additional information. Some of the add-ons include: maxx air 10 speed fan, pop up table, children's bunk bed (Bunk bed is for a small child up to 10 years of age or 90lbs.), premium galley configuration, Spray Port, roof rack, and refrigerator. The trailer comes with a New LiFePO4 100ah battery good for about 2 days off grid without needing to be recharged, it includes a digital display so you will know exactly how much charge you have left. What's includedIncluded with the trailer are fresh linens, two new pillows, camping chairs, utensils, 18 gallon onboard water storage, and an 11lb propane tank. See add-ons for additional information.Other things to noteNote the trailer does not have a built in heater. Be prepared if your traveling in the cold weather. This is one of the best insulated trailers on the market and will keep the cabin insulated from the outdoors well, however if it is extremely cold outside the temperature will drop. A 2" ball hitch is available, if needed. You will need to have a 2" hitch adaptor and a 7-pin connector to tow this trailer. Onboard battery recharges as you tow the vehicle. Shore power hookup available utilizing a standard 20 amp receptacle plug.

Since we started dating, travel has been a necessity and priority. We thrive on being able to explore new corners of the world, especially off the beaten path. Every trip renews and inspires us. As a family of five the Mean Bean and rooftop tent have allowed us to be together wherever we choose to go and access the great outdoors with everything we need. We had a wonderful experience with Paul and his Bean trailer! We added the rooftop tent option, which provided plenty of room for our family of four. We camped at the Weston Pass Campground, just south of Fairplay for 3 nights. Despite being in the 40s at night, the interior of the trailer kept us warm. I towed the trailer with my Lexus GX 470 and it was very maneuverable and steady on the highway. Paul provided us with all of the kitchen equipment and did a thorough job of communicating how to work all the features of the trailer at pick up. I would certainly rent from Paul again!

Paul was great to work with. Everything about the Mean Bean was as described. Super clean and all worked well, pretty cool setup with the stove and running water in rear galley. We opted for the roof top tent as well and it was a breeze to setup and close. Didn't need a solar charger as we moved each day and charged as we drove. Easily towed behind my Jeep Wrangler. If you're a tent camper like me you owe it to yourself to try out this camper. Highly recommended.

We had a great time with this trailer! It was perfect for what we needed, and my 6'2" husband fit perfectly on the bed. We even used the bunkbed attachment for our baby, and she slept great! The kitchen is perfect for food prep, we recommend this trailer to anyone wanting a little more than a regular tent for their camping trip.
