Review summary

Communicative and accommodating host
Tim provided clear, prompt communication and helpful navigation, even supporting an emergency call on a Sunday. The rental process, including pick-up and drop-off, was described as easy, smooth, and enjoyable.
Easy to drive and powerful
The vehicle drives easily with a strong Ford motor/chassis that handles steep hills without issue. It is consistently praised for being immaculately clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and spacious for gear, with thoughtful amenities.

5.0Tim helped us navigate RV life all through trip. The Ford motor/chassis is great - steep hills are not a problem. Would do it again.

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
On some days we are able to arrange early pickup or late dropoff - please contact us to make arrangements.
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
1. The RV is very long and wide. Make "square turns", pulling out straight a bit farther than you would with a car or pickup, and then make your turn. Keep this in mind when pulling into gas stations. 2. The RV is also tall. Be cautious around low branches. 3. Have somebody spot you when backing up. 4. Because of the sheer size of the RV, you may feel a little swaying when driving at high speeds in the wind or near other large vehicles. 5. You'll get the best fuel economy around 55 mph.
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
We'll walk you through the hookups at pickup. You can also find easy instructions in our manual (pdf file emailed to you on request). Electricity hooks up to the 30-amp shore power at campgrounds, or you can use the yellow adaptor (in the drawer under the stove) to plug into a standard 3 prong outlet. Water and dump hoses are stored in the utility storage space at the rear driver's side of the RV.
Q.
Can I take the RV out of state?
A.
Sure. Note that there is a 100-mile daily allowance and that fees are due at a per-mile rate for additional miles you drive. WE DO NOT ALLOW bookings for renters expecting to take the RV more than 1500 miles, and we charge an additional fee for trips over 750 miles total. If you have specific needs on this, please send us a message and we can talk through options.
