5.0Working with the Host on this Sprinter van rental was easy and smooth. The Sprinter van ran like a top and was perfect for my solo surfing trip to Ca. beach campgrounds. Everything worked as described and it was a pleasure to camp in this machine.

5.0We had a great experience with this van. We took it to Joshua Tree, and it was awesome to have somewhere to cook that was protected from the wind, as well as a toilet and shower. There is also a bench seat that converts to a small bed. It was well-stocked with everything you'll need for an adventure, including cookware, plates, bowls, and even oil and spices. Tom was very communicative, including when we had to call him during our trip with a few follow up questions. Take videos of how to use all the different van functions if you're not familiar with camper vans, as there were a few things we couldn't clearly remember by the time we were trying to use them. :)

5.0We recently rented a Sprinter van through Outdoorsy for a two-week road trip from California up to Washington and the San Juan Islands — and it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The van was absolutely perfect: clean, comfortable, reliable, and set up with everything we needed for the journey. From long scenic drives to quiet nights at camp, it made the trip unforgettable. But what really made this experience next-level was the host. Tom’s communication was flawless from start to finish — quick to respond, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an amazing trip. You can tell he cares deeply about his guests and takes pride in the van. That kind of service and attention to detail is rare, and it made all the difference. This trip was truly beautiful in every way, and we can’t thank Tom enough for his kindness and for sharing such a great van with us. We’d 100% rent from him again in the future and would recommend him to absolutely anyone looking for an incredible road trip adventure. If you’re considering a rental on Outdoorsy — stop searching. This is the one.

Frequently asked questions
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Hooking up with electric, water, and sewage is very easy if you're at an RV campground. All the cables is included and you just connect them. The toilet uses a cassette. If you're at a campsite without hookups, then you can use the water from the water tank, electricity from the generator or batteries, and gas and warm water from the propane tank.
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
This camper van is super duper easy to drive. However, it does have an 11 ft high clearance, so you can't park in parking structures or go through drive-thru's for fast food
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We know you have some amazing adventures planned so we can be a little flexible with you picking up earlier or dropping off later so just ask
Q.
What do you recommend to bring?
A.
There are some things that we recommend you to bring to have the best experiences: sleeping bags, a sheet to cover the bed so you feel like home, pillows, camping chairs, plastic silverware, a couple of floor mats so you don't want to drag in wet or dirty dirt, pop-up tent, etc. But most importantly, you'll need something for a fire, which you can usually buy at the campground. However, we also rent out most of these items if you need, and we most highly recommend our propane firepit.
