So happy you stopped to us check out! Our super cool, super comfortable and totally awesome camper van!You can go just about anywhere in this model. It fits in a regular parking spot with no issues. Who wouldn’t want that kind of flexibility?? Plus, the MPG is awesome! Average is about 20MPG. Woohoo! More $$ for other things. In addition, this awesome vehicle can double as your mobile office as you can also opt for the Starlink dish to accompany the separate working space. So, the open road is essentially your office away from home. Nothing cooler than having a room with a view anywhere the road takes you. This van is made for two (no more, but less, if you are so inclined). And the bed... pretty darn comfortable! It’s kind of like your own little studio apartment on wheels. It has a kitchen, swivel around captains chairs with available pull out tables, for laptops or eating. It also boasts a table for eating or working. In the rear, you’ll find a bathroom/shower combination. And, this vehicle isn’t just for working as you go. It’s great for traveling to all types of adventures! If you have bikes, just strap them in on the rear bike rack. Easy peasy. After a long day of working or playing, just sit back under the awning and sip a cold one while enjoying the scenery. Please note, while our van is 'Pet Friendly', we will require the following:
- You will need to arrange for Outdoorsy's Damage Protection service.
- Only allow one dog. (no more than 40 lbs.).
- We will ask for your pet's information (breed, size) prior to departure.
Our minimum nights state 7 nights. This is for July & August. 4 night minimum for June & September, 3 night minimum for all other months. No departures or returns on Saturdays. Our standard pickup and drop off time is 12 noon. If you'd like times different than above, we can make arrangements. What's included- Dining place settings for two.
- Bed linens, including comforter.
- 2 bath towels.
- K-cup compatible coffee maker.
- Toilet paper, chemical drop-ins and all the hoses for water and dumping.
- Main 30AMP electric cord + 100ft extension cord with 15AMP household adapter
- City water pressure regulator for campsite water hookup.
- Cell phone signal booster & hotspot gives you a few extra bars when you're really remote.
RecommendationsAt this size, the rig can go anywhere.
1) You can make the trip to Yellowstone & Lake Jenny in the Tetons if you like (something you can't do this with large RVs)
2) You can take your WFH calls in a parking lot or campground. This has been a great pandemic perk.
3) You can go "offline", dry camping, or boondocking for more than a day... allowing you to go deep in the woods if desired.
Other things to note- There are complete user guides & manuals in the compartment above the driver & passenger. If you have questions, the answer is probably there.
- If you have a pet and leave it behind in the van while you go on your adventures, please put it in a kennel to reduce risks!
- Don't force anything! If it doesn't seem to work, something is probably amiss.

Mollie quickly answered all questions and was patient with new RV drivers, providing support before and during trips.

Easy to drive and park

The Travato was easy to drive, park, and navigate. It featured great AC, a comfortable bed, and a reliable solar setup, with all functions working as expected.

Great experience! Easy pick up/drop off and great communication. RV was as advertised and ran great. Clean and well kept with on the road essentials provided in the RV. Comfy bed with great AC that helped cool off in the summer heat. Great looking rig- we got a lot of compliments on it. Highly recommend!

The Winnebago Travato was absolutely amazing! We drove it to Glacier National Park and spent 5 nights there. Everything worked as expected and there were no issues at all. The rig is easy to drive and park. The solar setup is super convenient, the charge never got below 60%, and we didn't have to worry about running a generator. We wish we could have rented it for longer. Mollie is a great owner. She answered all our questions right away. Don't hesitate to rent this rig - you won't be disappointed.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Depends on the trip. We will try our best to be flexible with people's schedules!

Q.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

A.

For electric hookup, this RV does fine with just 15/20AMP service, given the large lithium batteries that power the Microwave and AC units. However, it comes with a 30AMP cord, so that works too. Water and sewage hookups are just the same as all RVs. Hoses included with RV.

Q.

Can I tow a car or boat?

A.

The Winnebago Travato is equipped with a 2" receiver hitch, but only pulls 3500lbs max. Unfortunately, this means no cars, and only very light boats can be towed.

Q.

Can I check out the RV in advance?

A.

Absolutely! By appointment. We're located in Inver Grove Heights, MN and would be happy to meet you to show you the quality of the Travato before you make the rental committment.

Meet your host, Jon

Member since 2021

We are Jon & Mollie. We've been RV'ing since 2012 when we rented our first class C RV to take our daughters to Yellowstone. They loved it so much that we decided we needed to RV every year. Once we got going, we switched to being the owner vs. the renter and grew the RV rental business to include four class C RVs. Now, our daughters are grown and we've scaled back to do some travelling of our own with this Winnebago Travato (which we decided was the best RV on the market.:))
