Informative and highly accommodating
Host thoroughly explained features, was flexible with pickup/return times, and was very accommodating throughout the rental process.
Smooth driving, excellent performance
Vehicle handles incredibly well, driving smoothly even with the camper. It includes a large fridge, sink, awning, and insulated pop-up, though it may feel cramped for larger individuals.

5.0I recently took a camping trip using a 2025 Toyota Tacoma TRD with an iOOD slide-in pop-up camper, and overall it was a great experience. The Tacoma TRD was phenomenal. I’m 6’4” and 270 pounds, so I was honestly surprised by how comfortably I fit behind the wheel. There wasn’t much room behind the driver’s seat, but that’s to be expected. The truck handled incredibly well with the camper mounted in the bed. In fact, it drove so smoothly that most of the time I forgot the camper was even back there. The slide-in pop-up camper was a bit more challenging for me. At my size—and at 60 years old—getting in and out wasn’t the easiest, and the interior felt a little cramped. If you’re a larger person, it’s definitely something to keep in mind. I really enjoyed the amenities. The electric refrigerator kept everything cold, having a sink for washing dishes was incredibly convenient, and the bed was long enough for someone my height. The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable, but that’s pretty common with these types of campers unless you upgrade it. One of my favorite features was the 270-degree awning. It provided excellent shade and made spending time outside much more enjoyable. We also really liked the shower cube. I took a warm shower in it, which was a nice luxury while camping, although we mostly used it to house our cassette toilet. We struggled a little when it came time to fold the pop-up tent back down, but we figured it out. Like anything else, there’s a learning curve, and I’m sure it would become much easier with experience. The host was outstanding. He was very informative, took the time to explain everything, and was flexible with our pickup and return times, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had a fantastic trip and really enjoyed the setup. While I don’t think I would rent this particular camper again, that’s mainly because of my size. I’d probably look for something a little larger next time. But if you’re looking for a capable overlanding setup that’s easy to drive and packed with useful features, this is definitely one worth considering.

5.0Great car for light overlanding. It has more feature than every truck camper I have ever seen.

5.0Easy pickup good explanation of the camper features and simple drop off. Truck and camper were top notch. Perfect camper and surprisingly good performance from the newer Toyota turbo engine and transmission combo. Fridge is massive with freezer. Camper setup and stow was easy. Bed is super comfortable. Insulation on tent portion kept sleeping and use temps comfortable. Outside shower and kitchen sink were flawless. Will rent again 100 percent.
