Sweetheart’s Rules of the Road 1. Diesel Only, Please! Sweetheart runs on diesel fuel — no gasoline in the truck’s tank. Mixing up fuels can cause serious damage, so double-check before you pump! 2. Handle Her With Love She’s a 1989 classic, she’s sturdy and reliable but appreciates gentle handling. Take it easy on rough roads, avoid speeding, and treat her like the vintage beauty she is. 3. Propane Know-How Sweetheart comes equipped with two propane tanks that power the stove, fridge, and furnace. Please check propane levels before heading out, and turn off the tanks when not in use. 4. Generator Guidelines The onboard generator runs on gasoline, separate from the truck’s diesel fuel. Use it only when needed, and never run it in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas. Be mindful of quiet hours in campgrounds or festivals. 5. Camp Cooking & Cleanup She’s stocked with the basics for cooking outdoors — please treat everything with care and clean up after use. 6. No Smoking Inside Keep Sweetheart fresh and smoke-free. Please don’t smoke inside the camper (that includes tobacco, cannabis, or anything else). 7. Respect Her Limits Sweetheart isn’t built for extreme off-roading. Stick to maintained roads and use common sense — if it looks too steep or sketchy, it probably is. 8. Leave No Trace Whether you’re in the forest, mountains, or at a festival, please respect nature. Pack out what you pack in, and leave places better than you found them. 9. Keep It Cozy She sleeps comfortably, but space is limited. Please do not overload with gear or guests. 10. Return Her Happy Please return Sweetheart with full dual tanks of diesel and gasoline (for the generator), and everything clean and in place.
