Review summary
Helpful, but unresponsive to problems
Annie is praised for friendliness, clear check-in, and flexibility with pick-up times. However, multiple renters reported dismissive or non-existent responses to critical issues (dead battery in desert) and disputes (early pickup charges, late return fees).
Easy to tow and maneuver
The Bambi is clean, cute, comfortable, and easy to tow. Early issues included dead batteries, corroded window, hard-to-lock door, and broken brake cable. Post-June 2026, upgraded 200Ah lithium batteries support 3 nights off-grid.

2.0Host is not great at communicating, I tried to communicate and plan what size ball I needed and pickup time for over a week leading to the trip and they didn’t reply until the day of the trip saying they wouldn’t be available to pick up the trailer until after 5:30pm even though the listing said 3pm or you can pay extra for earlier than 3pm. They charged a significant cleaning fee, the trailer had trash in several drawers, and almost every surface had food or something that needed to be wiped clean off of it. The bed smelled very strong of wet dog even though we brought our own sheets and tried to cover the mattress, I had awful allergies and we had to spend the first entire day cleaning the trailer wiping every wall and surface and open the windows to air it out. Upon arrival yo return the trailer the host was not home, and not replying to the message and I was forced to wait for an hour until outdoorsy told me to just leave the trailer and keys there and document photos of it as is. Would not recommend renting from this host unfortunately.

5.0Trailer was great everything worked. The batteries had been upgraded to 200 amp hrs of lithium so 3 nights without hook ups was no problem.

2.0Overall the airstream was nice, however there were a number of issues - the dead battery we discovered on the first morning meant no water and no way to connect the airstream to our vehicle. I messaged the host for help, and her response was dismissive. When I messaged a second time for troubleshooting ideas she never responded. We were literally stranded in a hot desert. Luckily some kind neighbors had a generator and saved us. There were other issues like a toilet plunger in poor condition, and an improperly secured electric trailer break wire. We understand things do happen when you are on an adventure, but just a simple and reasonable response by our host to our requests for help would have made a meaningful difference for our family.

5.0This is a great little trailer! Super clean and easy to pull. Great for a campground with hookups. It's not setup for dry camping. The host, Annie, is very helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed the experience!
