5.0We had a great time taking The Expresso around California to National Parks! We were first time van renters and it was easy to get used to driving the big van around LAX and even the narrow canyon roads of Kings Canyon. The cameras and parking system made parking it easy as well. Inside was very comfortable and the roof deck was great for watching stars at night! Thanks for the memories!

5.0My 9 year old son and I rented the Espresso Sprinter from Sierra in June 2026 for a road trip around multiple National Parks. We went to Death Valley, Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. We love to tent camp but I’m pregnant and we knew that Death Valley would be very hot in June so we wanted to camp with access to AC. Before we even booked, I asked a lot of questions to make sure that the van was allowed to go to Death Valley, could travel that many miles and had adequate AC to beat the 115 degree heat in Death Valley. Not only did the van and Sierra come through for an epic adventure, she even went the extra mile to ensure there was an additional generator AC unit in the van for us should the van AC not be sufficient (which it was and we didn’t end up even needing the additional AC unit to stay cool). The bed was so comfortable and the layout was perfect for what we needed. The drive was really smooth for such a large vehicle on so many windy, mountainous roads and it surprisingly got great gas mileage! Plus all the other Mercedes Sprinters gave us the nod as we passed and it made us feel like we were a part of a special club! We had a bit of an issue with the van towards the end when one of the sites we were staying at shorted out the battery and Sierra was quick to come to our assistance. She put me in touch with their technician who walked me through troubleshooting the problem so we could get back to adventuring. I cannot recommend this van and Sierra as a host enough. Every part of the process was smooth and I’m so appreciative of her communication and assistance. My son ended up leaving a very special shark tooth necklace in the car by accident and she shipped it to me with no issue. We love tent camping but after this adventure, we can’t wait to rent a sprinter from Sierra again!!

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What's the mileage policy?
A.
You get 100 free miles per day. Over that, it's $0.35/mile.
Q.
I'm flying into LAX - How does pickup work?
A.
The van is parked minutes from LAX in Lennox. After you land, grab a quick rideshare to me (about 10 minutes) for keys + walk-through. Or I can deliver the van to your hotel, Airbnb, or another LA meeting point. Message me for a delivery quote based on location.
Q.
Where can I take her?
A.
Anywhere in California, plus most of Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon. PCH, Big Sur, Joshua Tree, Yosemite - all good. No off-roading, no Mexico travel, no extreme weather routes. Festival-friendly (except Burning Man). Not sure if your route works? Just ask before booking.
Q.
I've never rented a camper van. Will I be okay?
A.
Welcome ☕. About half of my renters are first-timers, and they all come back smiling. At pickup, I do a full walk-through - driving, kitchen, indoor + outdoor shower, solar, etc. A printed manual stays in the van for reference. And I'm a text away the whole trip if anything comes up.
