5If you're looking for a extremely gracious, honest, and quick responder to your requests and/or questions, then no need to look further. Marco made our first experience with the campervan rental so nice and fun! We had a really great time campervanning up the central coast in this cute little van. My two little ones enjoyed the trip more because of this van. Every essential feature of the van worked fine. However, I would suggest bringing a cooler as a backup to help keep your food and beverages cool. Regardless, we will definitely make more road-tripping memories because of the great experience we had with Marco and Outdoorsy.

5Marco was a great host/owner who patiently explained all we needed to know about Walter. We drove to los padres park and had a fantastic weekend with other vanagon friends. Walter is 2003 and easy to drive, automatic and has cold AC (good in Los Angeles at the moment). We were 3 people and tried both beds and they were both super comfortable. The fridge unfortunately didn't work but we had a cooler and the popup tent screens were a bit torn so had to keep the tent windows half closed but that was fine for our needs. All communication with Marco was easy and fast. We highly recommend Walter! -l

4Renting from Marco was great! The campervan is older, but it ran very nicely. We only had one hiccup at the beginning of the trip, but driving was pretty effortless after that. We maneuvered up mountains with no problems and through the city traffic easily. One thing I would note is some of the wear and tear on the screens for the pop top. As someone who did not want little buggies coming in while we were getting ready for the night, knowing that everything was sealed would have been more of a relief for me. We tried buying some patch kits and these only half-worked. I would suggest that the screens be replaced, but Marco's solution of not fully opening them worked alright, just not the best when it's hot out (the more breeze, the better). We bought some little battery-operated fans to keep circulation flowing. Overall, it was a great trip and the campervan was very reliable.
