Compared to most gas RVs that get 5-9 mpg... this 23 footer Mercedes Diesel is the way to go! This RV is really easy to drive, and gets an Amazing 17 mpg. It's great for local travel and longer road trips. You will save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in gas (we learned this the hard way).We are located in Loveland, Colorado which is conveniently located 45 minutes from Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park, 45 minutes from Boulder, 55 minutes from DEN Airport, and 15 minutes from the FNL Airport. If you're flying in, the Landline Shuttle service between DEN and FNL is awesome! It costs about $30 and drops you off in Loveland at the FNL Airport where we can deliver for a fee, or take a 15 min Uber ride to our location. This RV sleeps up to 5 adults on 3 beds (one full size, one twin, one cot) has a full bathroom separated by a sliding door, and one slide out that makes it feel roomy. The bathroom contains a toilet, shower, sink, medicine cabinet, and closet. It has seats for up to 6 people, with optional tent add on if you need more sleeping room. The kitchen includes a stainless steal sink, cooktop, microwave that serves as a convection oven, and a refrigerator that operates off of propane or plugged-in electric. There are many add-ons available, from sleeping bags to tents, bike rack, camping chairs, and even a computerized telescope. It will locate and track many different star systems, planets, galaxies, etc. Luckily, dark skies are still available in Colorado. Twin Lakes near Leadville, and Crestone are two areas that have the darkest skies around for amazing telescope viewing. We intentionally removed the TV/DVD player from our RV as most people use their tablets these days anyway. However, when we leave the screens at home, as we've noticed it helps our family connect more deeply with each other and nature. We hope you experience the same!Winter Travelers (October through April):
Since the RV is required to be winterized for temperatures below freezing, we will provide a portable 5-gallon water jug for sink use. The toilet will be usable, but the the shower and faucets will not be available.
What's included• Kitchen Essentials (Pots, pans, utensils)
• Dishware, Silverware
• Cleaning Supplies
• 1 Roll of Paper Towels
• 2 Rolls of Toilet Paper
• More available as add-ons
RecommendationsWe recommend the Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, and Boulder (all within 45 minutes), Red Rocks Amphitheater, Red Feather Lakes & Leadville (2 hours), The Great Sand Dune National Park, Telluride Colorado, Moab Utah (over 5 hours away). Or head to Yellowstone, about 8 hours north! There's a lot to explore around here!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

How do you start a diesel?

A.

If you go to start the RV and it doesn't turn over right away, that's because the coils are cold. If you look on the dash there is a squiggly icon indicating that the battery is warming the coils. Depending on how cold it is, this can take 5 to 15 seconds. Once that icon goes away, the RV will start up just like any other vehicle.

Q.

How do you work the slide-out?

A.

It's important to check that nothing is in the way on either side of the slide-out, especially when retracting it. If the slide out gets blocked or tangled while moving, this can damage the system and result in a costly repair. The first step is to engage the handbrake next to the drivers seat. It's best if the RV's engine is running while you operate the slide-out, as it runs off of the car battery. The button to operate the slide-out is at the top of the panel in the back by the microwave.
