Quick, responsive communication, helpful
Guests consistently praise Maxime's quick replies, availability, and fluid communication, ensuring smooth pick-up/return and overall rental experience.
Drives well, good gas mileage
The van features cruise control, recently fixed AC, and offers 700-800km/tank highway mileage. Note the small shifting bed, fragile curtains, and basic cookware.

5.0We had a beautiful trip to the Bic and Gaspésie region. Maxime’s partner was very kind and welcoming, and we felt really comfortable the whole time. Le Cariño is cozy and charming. We did experience a few technical issues: the accelerator pedal stopped working once, the A/C wasn’t working, and we also noticed one of the battery terminals was a bit loose. Despite these little problems, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend the host!

5.0The trip with the van was amazing. My girlfriend and I rented the van for a week to go to New Brunswick and Grand Manan Island. Overall the van was great. The cruise control is really helpful, as not all van have the option. A couple small points to mention... The bed does the job but is not a queen. I'm pretty certain its a double or twin or whatever you call it. So space is a bit limited. (we are both about 5"5 and 5"8 and around 160Ibs and were okay). The bed is just a 2-3 inch soft foam with a 2 inch mattress. Not to mention it had a tendency of lifting on one side, leaving you or your partner stuck sleeping slightly on their side because the mattress wiuld side down if yall moved too much and slide up the rear seats wall an making it uncomfortable to sleep, unless you both stepped out to rearrange the mattress. The curtains that were provided did do the job to a certain extent, but were extremely fragile and hung up by elastics on one window, which the elastics did end up letting go early into the trip. The van comes with cookware, although it did not have a very good pan big enough to cook much on, so we did have to buy ourselves one and came with wooden utensils, so I do recommend buying a set of plastic reusable utensils once yall rent the van. Aside from that the van does comr with phone mounts and a Bluetooth connection device that workedby setting yourselfon FM radio and going on channel 105.9 which would channel to the device and allow you to play your music from your phone that way. The whole driving part, I have no complaints. The AC was fixed recently and works amazingly. A true lifesaver when driving. The gas would cost you anywhere around 100$+/- for a full tank depending on how much the price of gas was at. (1.70-1.80$/L for regular for us in NB) And you would get about 700-800km for that tank on highway mileage. But double check on google with the van's gas specs. JUST KEEP IN MIND the 300km/day limit for your total trip mileage because if you pass that total mileage at the end of the trip, youll get charged extra. // If yall are planning a week or two somewhere for some simple camping, the van will do just fine. Anything longer or under bad weather and you might not enjoy a night or two. If it rains, I highly recommend having a big enough tarp that will cover your middle and front part of the van to be able to have the window cracked a little when sleeping at night so that it doesnt get too hot, since yall wont have a fan or anything unless you bring something with you. But overall, this van definitely allowed us to have an amazing trip visiting NB. Next time for Nova Scotia and PEI, we will be renting something bigger for added space. Space in the van is not terrible if you advance the front seats for bed time and yall stay organized and limit yourselves to a carry-on or two each for the trip. Please dont hesitate to ask all your questions to the host. He has been absolutely amazing with the quick replies and making sure the pre-rental and post-renral experience went smoothly and without any complaints on that part. Aside from that, Highly recommend renting with them. Just need to better prepare yourself once you have the van before you leave on your roadtrip. Everything was great and the price was a lot more affordable than other rental sprinter vans or RV's. Thanks again for everything. This was definitely a trip that will be remembered in our books :)

On recommande vivement !
