Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
You can add on an early pickup and/or late dropoff to avoid paying the full nightly rate.
Q.
Can I drive this RV even if I’ve never driven one before?
A.
If big rigs, firetrucks, double buses, and moving trucks can do it, so can you! Driving tips: Pay attention to height around signs and tree branches, use your mirrors, and make wide turns. Use a spotter when backing up. Do not drive in winds over 30 mph (it will feel like the handling is gone). Built on a Ford E450 chassis, layout will be familiar to Ford drivers. Set the parking brake by stepping on it; pull handle to release. Stay under 60-65 mph or the shaking will remind you to slow down.
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
I have created a custom manual specific to my RV which is available at bit.ly/3F0pJ6e (case sensitive, and that is a Zer0 not an O)
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
