5.0We had a great time in Henry the Ford exploring a small chuck of overall Alaska. A week goes by fast, but Henry kept us warm and comfy during all of our adventures. Thanks Kevin for making it easy.

5.0Kevin is super friendly, relaxed, and responsive. We had an issue with a dead battery one day (user error on our part) and he responded right away. The truck itself is great as well and much more fuel efficient than I had expected. Kevin's build out has a lot of nice little touches and its clear a lot of time and thought went into making it what it is. Prepare to get a lot of compliments from other campers and folks on the road. Overall 5/5; would rent again.

5.0What a great way to experience Alaska! Very well equipped, fantastic solar/electrical system, and great communication from Kevin during our trip. As expected, it was a little tight for our family of 4 but we solved that with one of us sleeping outside in a hammock most nights. So many compliments from strangers!

5.0Kevin was extremely professional and accommodating for our trip. Communication was excellent with quick responses. Henry was a blast to drive and a breeze to set-up/take down. Fit the 3 of us comfortably and gave us a lot of flexibility in travel stops along the way.

5.0Our experience in Henry was fantastic. We had three kids at one point and then two on our adventure and we all fit fine. The height of the ceiling was much better than other camper vans we’ve used. The kitchen was very easy to cook in and came with all the things you’d need. The blackout shade game was top-notch, and we could turn the camper into a dark cozy cocoon (very necessary for Alaska summers!) Kevin was the best host ever. He made sure we had enough sleeping bags, chairs, and everything else. His ingenious design with this camper van was appreciated every day of our trip.

Frequently asked questions
Q.
I'm over 6'-0" tall and 250lbs, will I adequately fit and be comfortable sleeping in the main bed?
A.
Yes, the main bed is extremely comfortable and anyone 6'-2" or taller will have to sleep at a slight angle, but the bed is plenty wide enough to accommodate.
Q.
Is Henry a "Stick Shift" Manual Transmission that requires knowing how to clutch and shift manually?
A.
YES, Henry is a 5-speed manual transmission that requires the knowledge and skill set of using a clutch, knowing engine RPM, and shift pattern. It is an extremely easy stick-shift to drive so if you have not driven a stick shift in several years dont fret, Henry is very forgiving. IF you have never driven a stick shift before in your life, Henry is NOT for you.
Q.
We are planning a Fall Trip or Winter Adventure well below freezing, will the wood stove keep us warm?
A.
YES, Henry is very well insulated and was constructed to be a true 4-season adventure rig. The wood stove is sized and built specifically for the cabin size of Henry and once the first fire is lit and things warm up to temperature you will be su very pleased with your cozy warm cabin. Please see our "ADD-ON" option with precut and split firewood sized for the tiny stove and precut composite 4-hr fire logs for the "overnighter" logs before bed.
