Columbia is a fully self contained camper that works just as well out in the middle of nowhere as it does plugged into a campsite. You can seat up to 4 people comfortably in captains chairs with lots of vented windows for viewing the scenery and is very comfortable for the longer road trip.In the fully stocked kitchen you will find a 2 burner propane stove, 3 way refrigerator, sink, microwave oven and ample cabinet space for food. There are 2 removable tables, one in the front and one in the back, perfect for sitting around and enjoying a meal or playing a game of cards. The van features a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. There is a queen size bed in the rear of the camper for a very comfortable nights sleep complete with a tv/dvd player for watching movies. The front captains chairs can be converted into 2 bunk style beds suitable for kids 4 and 5 ft tall. Solar panels on the roof keep the 12v house battery charged while stationary. When 120v is needed, simply push a button and fire up the generator for power. There is a 30 gallon fresh water tank with on demand hot water. The stereo has a backup camera assist and also plugs into your phone with Apple play functionality.The outdoor shower, complete with hot and cold water controls is perfect for a quick rinse. There are block out shades on all of the windows for privacy. Should you want to pull into an RV site, the van has full hook ups for power, water and sewer. The awning and roof fan offer a cool reprieve during the hot summer months.We take your vacation seriously. Rules and policies
Our normal pick up time is 11am however special arrangements can be made to pick up anytime between 9am - 4 pm subject to availability. Please confirm a pick up time at least one week before your rental and make sure to let us know if you are going to be early or late. Rentals are based on a 24 hr rental period meaning the pick up and drop off times are the same. It is possible to extend your drop off time however we charge extra in 1/2 day increments.
You may drive on paved, secondary or gravel roads, however driving off road or on 4×4 tracks is prohibited. The lessee is liable for all damages to the vehicle, tires, towing charges and other expenses as a result of driving off road. Travel into Canada is permitted. Travel into Mexico and to Burning Man Festival is strictly prohibited and the entire security deposit will be forfeited by Lessee if there is evidence of travel into Mexico or Burning Man.
Some of our vehicles are pet friendly and there is an additional fee to add a pet to the reservation. SMOKING is prohibited inside the vehicles at all times. Evidence of smoking in the vehicle or transporting pets in the vehicle without permission will result in a $250 fee. Towing of anything is prohibited at all times. Sitting or standing on hood or roof of vehicle is also prohibited.
