He's a big tan man from the 80's. Like that dad with the big horn rims and a nice tan striped polo, he's classic! Everything was custom done in someone's favorite shades of brown just how we like it. Leather padded ceiling, brown wooden cabinets, tan captains chairs and a pullout couch, brown leather studded speakers, he's got everything you need to feel like you're living in an 80's vintage dream car. Equipped with a 4 burner stove, small oven, dual sink, 30 gallon water tank, toilet, and fridge all run on 300 watts of solar and a dual battery bank, it's ready to hit the road. He's old so not everything works Perfectly but they are in great condition and haven't failed me to this day. Please give a few details about the trip you are hoping to do when requesting to book so I know if the van will be right for your trip! It is not the best fit for every trip, for example burning man is a no go.What's includedBed made with clean sheets, a comforter and pillows, plates and silverware, cookware, cups/mugs that fit perfectly into the front mug cupholders, full water tank.RecommendationsI have taken the van everywhere between Tahoe, San Francisco, Eastern Sierras, Big Sur, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Diego! If its in California, Todd has been there. Great for road tripping or setting up shop at a campsite and taking the awning out.Other things to noteSince the van is a 1985 it's important to treat it like an old man aka gently. No driving at high speeds (you'll typically stay in the right lane) and don't push him too hard. It's a reliable car as long as you respect the age. The fridge is run on solar so you may have to turn it off sometimes if there isn't enough sun but it usually is fine run during the day and off while you sleep. This is pretty normal for small off-grid systems! I tend to grocery shop a little more often for about 2-3 days at a time! Please return with the toilet tank empty. There will be a $30 fee for dumping because of time and gas to do it. It can be taken to festivals except for burning man or any that require lots of off road driving to get to. otherwise pull up and set up camp at the festival!

I had always dreamed of converting a van but the van I had in California came to me already done. When I got to Hawaii I knew it was my chance to do a project that I've been dreaming up for a while and Billie came to fruition! I wanted a functional design that included many of the comforts of a home. I am a traveling spirit and am always exploring the world so I am so excited to offer this opportunity to other explorers!
