“Miss Frizzle” - Quirky Campervan for all Adventures
Pet friendly
21+
Sleeps 2
17.65 ft. long
2 guests
Get ready to buckle up for an adventure! Miss Frizzle is ready to take off anywhere. Her power system runs completely on solar (but can be plugged into shore power if extra electricity is needed.) She climbs mountains, sleuth camps in cities & loves the sunny beaches of California. I can’t wait to see where you take her! I travel the country in this van but will be working in Alaska on boats and I’m posting so that someone who’s interested in vanlife has the opportunity to try it, too. It’s hard for me to imagine ever wanting to live in a house again. The van can be picked up from my home base in San Diego, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet a whole community of vanlifers living on the ocean. Maybe the adventure will find you here, or maybe it will take you somewhere else entirely.
What's includedAmenitiesBedroom:
Full Bed with Mattress
Sheets
Comforter
PillowsKitchen:
All the cookware! (I’m a chef)
HUGE Dometic Fridge
Oven
Stove
LARGE sink! - game-changer in a van
Plates, bowls, utensils
Paper towels & dish towelsBathroom:
REI toilet with seat & woodchip shavings
Shower in nature out the back of the van (includes tent & water heater can be used on chilly days)Storage: SO much storage under the bed & over driver/passenger seat.Use the radio, aux cord provided for iPhones or bring CD’s for out-of-service areas when you’re ready to jam.Internet: I have an InstyConnect set-up. This is a top of the line router that I invested over $1,000 in because it is the best campervan internet solution. I’ll make it available upon request at no extra charge. All you’ll need is an active SIM card and I will walk you through how to get unlimited internet through the device. Great for someone exploring working a remote job in a van. Full disclosure, even with this device internet will not always work. But it’s been a pretty amazing feature for me. I can work and watch Netflix from almost anywhere in my van after a day hiking, at the beach, in national parks.RecommendationsI’ve gone through the mountains, sleuth camping in the city, to the beach… just about everywhere, she can go as long as it will not freeze. Miss Frizzle prefers to stay above freezing and to follow the sun. Freezing temps mean there is potential for the pipes in my water system to freeze. It could also damage the water heater. Other things to noteThe van has great pick-up but prefers to go slow and steady up hills. It’s a reality of most campervans (you’ll see when you pack everything in!). She’s working hard and I always say thank you.Pets are welcome!
No smoking.
