The owner seemed nice enough, so I really didn’t want to leave this review. We understand this is a rental and we are usually pretty easygoing, but I do feel it’s important to be honest so the next family has an accurate expectation. The listing photos appear to be from quite some time ago. The trailer is much more worn than the photos suggest, and we felt disappointed and misled when we arrived. I spent a lot of time comparing rentals for our family trip, and the actual condition did not match the listing. One of the first issues was the pullout sleeper couch, which we had planned to use. The host waited until the day of arrival to let us know it was torn up and said he was waiting on Keystone to fix it, but it seemed like it had likely been that way for a while. When we arrived, it simply had a folded sheet over it. The bigger issue was that the shower head was completely missing, so we were unable to use the shower during our 3 night stay. We had our 2 and 4 yo with us, so a usable shower was not a small detail. Had we known ahead of time, we could have booked something else or at least planned for the inconvenience. I also had to buy a broom and mop because the floors were clearly not cleaned well before our visit. Overall, the trailer felt heavily used and poorly maintained. This was a big family trip for us, and the condition of the trailer made it difficult to feel comfortable or settled. My recommendation to the owner would be to update the listing photos so they reflect the current condition. Guests should not feel blindsided when they arrive. For families looking for a clean, comfortable trailer for a family weekend, I would personally keep looking. It felt more like a heavily used, casual party or festival-style trailer than a family-friendly rental, and it was not what we expected based on the listing.
