The Taxa TigerMoth Trek is an ultra-lightweight, rugged go-anywhere trailer that at 900 lbs is easy to tow behind anything (a Prius can tow this rig!). The TigerMoth is one of the coolest mobile base camps on or off the road, so be prepared to make new friends wherever you park it! We love the TigerMoth because it combines the minimalism and outdoorsy spirit of tent camping with just the right amount of comfort, convenience and style. Our TigerMoth comfortably sleeps 2 adults. The queen size bed folds into a bench so you can enjoy the view through the gull-wing door. The TigerMoth has a slide out kitchen compartment for preparing meals and stowing all your cooking gear. A solar shower lets you take a hot rinse if the sun is out, and an awning slides out over the kitchen area to keep you under cover. A 5-gallon fresh water jug with a spigot is positioned over the kitchen prep surface and works as a gravity faucet for the wash basins we include. We also include a 45 quart Yeti cooler to keep your snacks chilled without having to deal with ice. The trailer has LED lighting inside and out as well as 12V and 120V electrical outlets. There's tons of storage on the inside as well as a roof rack and an exterior luggage shelf. If you'd like a little more comfort and convenience, you can rent an optional porta-potty and shower/outhouse tent.Included standard with your rental are all the necessities to have a good time: a kitchen kit with a portable stove, cook and dining ware, table and chairs for two, first-aid kit, and a pack of cards for when your killing time between adventures. If you want to take it up a notch, we offer add-ons including kayaks and a solar panel if you're planning on getting off the grid for a while. You can also check out Taxa's website for more information on the TigerMoth here:
