Review summary
Unreliable with bookings and support
Mario frequently cancels bookings and delivers RVs late with various excuses. He is accused of misrepresenting vehicle condition and disputes renter claims for compensation after major issues.
Drives with mechanical problems
Guests report check engine lights, tire issues due to age, and a noisy driving experience. Vehicle also has numerous failures including AC, refrigerator, generator, electrical systems, and significant cleanliness issues.

1.0Unfortunately, this rental did not match the condition represented in the listing. Several major issues were disclosed only at pickup, including a broken rooftop AC, a replacement refrigerator that was smaller than the original, and a missing shower door that had been replaced with a curtain. During the trip we experienced repeated electrical issues, including a total power failure and an inverter error. The portable AC provided by the host struggled to cool the RV and shut off intermittently. On the final day, the refrigerator stopped working entirely, resulting in us losing all our food. We also experienced tire issues that required roadside assistance. The responding AAA technician advised that the tire was more than six years old and in need of replacement. The RV also displayed an engine oil warning light during the trip. While the host was generally responsive when contacted during the rental, I was disappointed by how the issues were handled afterward. When I requested compensation for the numerous maintenance and equipment failures, the discussion shifted toward allegations that I had not refueled the RV and that I was responsible for the tire issue. I am disputing both claims and provided documentation showing the RV was refueled before return, while the AAA technician found no puncture and attributed the tire issue to its age and condition. I understand that RVs can occasionally have mechanical problems, but the number of maintenance, electrical, and equipment issues we encountered significantly impacted our trip. I do not feel the compensation offered was reasonable, nor how his attitude shifted once I asked him to make things right, given the circumstances, and I have been forced to escalate the matter through Outdoorsy's dispute process. I would not rent from Mario again.

5.0I only used the RV in my driveway while my house was being worked on. Mario was the perfect host. He explained all the ins and outs of the RV and got everything setup for my stay. I would recommend this host.

1.0Where to begin…We requested to have the RV delivered by 12p which was confirmed by owner only to have it dropped off 5 hours later. The first excuse was that it was rear ended and in the shop(mind you the dent looked like it had been there for weeks), second excuse was that one of the tires had a blowout and they had to fix it themselves. Excuse after excuse, never owned up to anything. From there it just snowballed. During the walkthrough of the RV, he opens bathroom door only to find a swarm of gnats that flew right in my face(owner completely acted as if he didn’t see any of this happen) so of course I mentioned it. His response was “it’s because it’s been sitting in the shop). We move onto the refrigerator where a fowl odor slapped me in the face “because it was sitting in the shop”. The burner for the stove as he explained was too hard to work, so he had a campfire stove top, really? Had to turn off AC completely if we needed to use the microwave. Should of read all of the reviews- LOOK ELSEWHERE- SMH.
