Fully stocked and ready to go on your adventure! Forest River made the super lightweight 20' R-Pod to be pulled by "whatever you have in the driveway" including SUVs and some Minivans. It will come packed with linens, towels, soap, shampoo, dishes, pots and pans, utensils, french press, salt & pepper, oil, camp chairs, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. All you need to do is bring your groceries and yourself! The layout of this particular R-Pod is conducive to an easy going and relaxing trip including lots of storage for your things and a slide-out for space to move around. The kitchen is situated at the back by the door with Tons of counter space and a work area for the cook that is not in the walkway (genius). Three way refrigerator (gas, battery, electric), convection microwave, furnace, A/C, TV, DVD, Bluetooth audio, outdoor speakers, outdoor shower, outdoor gas line for camp stove, toilet, shower and sleeping for four. There is a permanent queen bed and the dinette folds into a full sized bed (which we have memory foam for so you don't have to worry about comfort). With a 35 gallon fresh water tank, this thing works great for dry camping , but it also has all the modern amenities if you prefer to go to an RV Park with hookups. If you are interested in a video tour go here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmL1402TiWM. Thanks for looking!Follow the trailer on Instagram @cheerfulinallweathersTowing Info:
Dry Weight is 2,700 lbs. You Must have some sort of trailer braking system on your vehicle. We provide the proper ball hitch and anti-sway bar.Notes:
We expect this to be returned in the same condition we rented it to you, which we understand to mean tanks emptied, propane full, everything wiped down, floors swept, linens (sheets and used towels) in dirty clothes bag and outside cleaned (doesn't have to be spotless on outside, just not filthy). Otherwise there will be a $50 cleaning fee. If tanks are not emptied there will be a separate $60 fee. If the propane is not filled there will be a $30 fee. If all these things are done there will be no fee :-).The trailer has 2 deep cycle marine batteries. For now, if you are dry camping, the batteries should last about 1-3 days depending on if you are using the heater, more if you are super conservative. The batteries will not charge very well being plugged into a vehicle (it only gives a trickle charge). You have to plug into electrical hook-ups or a solar charger to re-charge. (Note: If the batteries are dead when returned, that is not a problem. We will plug it in at home.)We have a solar charger we will send with you if you are planning to go off the grid. It will keep your batteries topped off indefinitely.
