The amount of work that goes into the preparation of these Trekker Vans is impressive. These vans are immaculate, thoroughly cleaned, and well-maintained. I wouldn't trust anyone else to provide transportation and a home on wheels than Trekker Vans. Thank you!

El viaje fue genial gracias a Trekker Vans. La furgoneta estaba equipada con todo lo necesario para sobrevivir. Se echa de menos ducha y un fregadero eléctrico ya que resulta muy incómodo de utilizar ese tipo de grifo. Los edredones muy calentitos. La comunicación con Nate fue muy fluida y siempre estuvo para resolvernos dudas y ayudarnos en todo. Repetiríamos sin duda.

Nate, the host is super-responsive and answered all the questions I had in a timely manner. The camper van itself was pretty nice--it had the bare essentials and was clean. I was surprised how a la carte it was--if you're considering renting a Trekker van, note that you are responsible for cleaning it thoroughly before bringing it back and that mileage is NOT included in the cost (I think Trekker charges $0.32 per mile or so). There are a ton of add-ons with many of them being basics and in my opinion, feels like they should be provided free of charge upon request.

We had an awesome trip with 'our' campervan of Trekker Vans. The communication in advance of our trip with the owner (Nate) went well by e-mail. I would highly recommend to use a Trekker Van again! The price is worth it, we knew what we get and it was a compact but complete campervan to complete our roundtrip for 4(!) weeks.

great experience - contactless checkin/out worked well for us. communicative on questions too. it was good to have a heads up via text messages early in the reservation that we would need to clean the van before returning (the email we received the day before van return detailing this would have otherwise been a wee bit surprising!). will rent again for sure.

We had one of the best trips of our lives - drove down the coast, slept amongst redwoods, woke to the sunrise with waves crashing in the background. It was truly beautiful and we couldn’t have done it without the Trekker Van. The service was super well organized, everything was pristine clean, and everything was pretty much perfect. Nate was very accommodating and helpful throughout the process. Highly recommended!!

Trekker Vans was extraordinarily professional and comprehensive right from the beginning. I rented from them on very short notice. They stayed late in order for me to pick up the van the very next day. My briefing was so complete that I was able to use everything the first time. All the equipment was in excellent shape and perfect working order. The vans are easy to drive with plenty of power. All in all, the Trekker Van experience was top notch. I would recommend them to anyone wanting this style of camper van.

Nate the owner of the company is wonderful, he is very attentive and personable. The van is well designed and simple, it has so many well thought out features to keep you comfortable. It’s perfect for camping trips and comes with all camping gear. We had a great trip in California the only problems we ran into were a result of poor planning but lesson learned. My two kids (6 and 9) and I rented a van and drove hwy 1 to San Diego for 2 weeks for our first Cali experience. The van was exactly what we needed to allow our schedule to be...well...unscheduled. The van was easy to drive, park, and maneuver traffic in. Nate set us up with some great resources for campsites, and I have no doubt would have helped if we needed any while on our travels. The whole process was so easy which helped for a stress-free vacation.

We are just coming back from a 6 day trip to Big Sur and had a blast. Renting a van was a great way to travel with our two young daughters. The van drives great and has ample storage for all the stuff and food you could need. We had a couple of pretty cold (37F) and rainy days. It would have been a pain to do tent camping, but was fun with the van. Nate was great to help us plan and prepare for the trip. We live in San Francisco and ended up taking a bunch of things that was provided in the van. Next time, now that we know what's provided, we'll plan what to take from home a bit better. Anyway, I would strongly recommend the whole experience. We will most likely do it again.

Great experience with Trekker Vans. Nate was amazingly easy to work with ,cooperative and helpful. Sent us emails with dropped pin recommendations for camping, firewood from his house, extra dining equipment for our menu, and a ride to the airport... you name it. Great van setup as well... everything you need to explore and enjoy the outdoors. After being lifelong tent campers, we were amazed every morning how easy it was to breakdown and hit the road after enjoying the morning, and even pulling over on a Big Sur cliff for coffee was awesome with the setup you've got in a Trekker van. Cannot emphasize enough the customer service and great attitude working with Trekker. Great vacation and will do it again with Trekker. Thank you.

Renting through Trekker Vans was the Best. Decision. Ever. We don't have much experience camping, so the idea of renting a car and camping gear for a 10+ day road trip throughout California was a bit intimidating. Finding Trekker Vans was a god-send. This van actually exceeded all our expectations while we were on the road. Its intuitive and accessible design allows you to become easily accustomed to setting things up, taking things down, and using the van to its fullest potential. Trekker Vans sets you up with all of the basic supplies and tools you need to have a relaxing time wherever you are. You customize it to your liking and you get exactly that. It's super easy to drive - even on some questionable dirt roads that we encountered in Joshua Tree and the narrow curvy, under construction roads along the PCH. I came to appreciate the fact that from the outside, it's just an inconspicuous, normal van. We weren't limited to designated parking lots/spaces for larger, traditional recreational vehicles, which was FANTASTIC because we visited a number of urban areas on our trip too. This van gives you full flexibility for both the great outdoors and city detours. Working with Nate is loads of fun - he knows what he's talking about, so don't hesitate to ask him about cool spots to check out, what routes to take, hikes to explore, etc. He thinks his banter is horrible, but it's not. (Nate, your jokes aren't bad!) I have already been recommending them to everyone and will definitely use them again next time I'm in town.

The van was very comfortable. Everything is at the right place. The bed is huge and there is enough space to store your stuff. The small sink was great, especially at the desert campsites.

This was one of my best camping experiences ever. The comfort and convenience of the Trekker van was exactly what I was looking for. First, the booking and checking in experience was top notch. There was plenty of time to ask questions and I felt equipped for the journey. Bedding and pillows and cooking gear was provided, which turned out to be quite useful as we had forgotten a few things. The vehicle itself was clean and new and driving it was super easy. Though it is huge, it handles very smoothly and the plentiful mirrors make it easy to navigate - I even managed to parallel park it in San Francisco three times.

This van is far superior to jucys or similar vans. The size of the van was a bit intimidating but it’s easy to drive. The interior is spacious and well thought out. The bed was cozy and fit two people comfortably. We can’t wait to rent it again!

The two of us went on a two-week road trip with a Trekker Van. Our route took us from San Francisco south along the Central California coast down to San Diego and then back through desert country (California and Mojave deserts). The van was a pleasure to drive and the bare-bones interior suited us fine. In spite of a few minor shortcomings (no hooks for towels, having to keep the storage lid up with one's head, the handle of the frying pan not being insulated) we were happy with what we got from Trekker Van. The van was spotless when we received it and the bed/table setup worked very well. It was great to be able to eat, sleep and cook under one roof, especially in cold nights in the desert and the high mountains. We were impressed with the way in which the owner-operated business was run and the personal attention we received. We can strongly recommend Trekker Vans for anyone who does not want the inconvenience of tents, nor the excessive size and luxury of the typical RV.
