1.0DO NOT RENT THIS UNLESS MAJOR ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED/ADDRESSED: We recently rented an RV from 3/2026-3/2026 from host Kelsy. There were several, inexcusable issues with the RV during the trip. 1. When we came to pick up the RV at 3pm, there were multiple issues and we were not able to actually leave with it until about 5 pm. One of the issues was the generator was not working. This was ultimately "repaired". 2. The RV was very dirty at the time of pick up. We took time to clean the surfaces and the floors after starting our trip. We also found some leftover clothing from prior users. 3. The bathroom vanity faucet had a very large leak when we first connected to a water hose at a campground. We had to reduce the pressure significantly in order to reduce the leak so we can use a bowl to catch the dripping water. We then found out that if we turned on the RV water pump, the water was essentially gushing from under the vanity. This made it impossible to use the water pump. When we reported this to the owner, recommendation was use see if putty can solve the issue (completely inadequate). After a few hours, we were luckily able to fix the plumbing and were able to use the water pump. 4. The water heater would not work on electricity. Ultimately we did get it to work using LP gas. For the first 4 days of the trip, we did not have hot water. 5. Carbon monoxide sensor located at the bottom of the bed had tape over it and would alarm anytime we turned on the generator for more than two minutes. 6. During rain, the bathroom ceiling was substantially leaking from around the ceiling fan (regardless of the fan being closed or opened). We had to use available towels and bags to dry the area, prevent water damage, and direct the leaking water towards a bowl. 7. After the rain, the central console also dripped water for the entire day after the rain. We had a bucket catching the water for that day. 8. The shower was not usable for the entire trip due to the leaking roof, lack of hot water, and storing the soaked up towers from the leak in the shower. 9. There was black water dripping back at all times despite closing off all valves 10. There was no back/grey water hose provided. We had to borrow one from the campgrounds. 11. The provided white water hose was cut and therefore was very short. This created an issue for a couple of the campgrounds as the hose was too short to use. 12. Slide out malfunctioned once during the trip and could not slide back in. This only happened once and worked for the rest of the trip. 13. There was a small leak in one of the cabinets where dishes were stored. 14. There was no battery in the smoke detector and it was essentially useless. 15. Interior RV lights flickered intermittently and at times would turn off on their own. 16. There was a broking panel in one of the lower storage compartments 17. RV battery only would last about 30 minutes at best with minimal to no use.
