Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We're very flexible! We'll do our best to accommodate to your schedule. If you have a specific need, just ask.
Q.
How does the electric work on the RV?
A.
Our RV has a 30 amp connection, which is very common at RV campgrounds. It's as simple as plugging in and turning on the power. If you're camping without access to the grid, we also have an ultra-quiet inverter generator with battery start and will provide it to you with a full tank of gas.
Q.
How does the water work on the RV?
A.
You have two options for water. The easiest is what's called "City Water" which basically just means you hook a hose up from a fresh water source (hence "city" water). The connections are immediately pressurized, so you can start pouring! Alternatively, you can fill the fresh water tank. It's better to do this when you arrive at your camp site so as not to tow too much extra weight, but can be done before traveling if need be. The RV has a pump that will then pressurize the plumbing system.
Q.
How does the sewage work on the RV?
A.
There are two different tanks on on our RV; the grey, filled by the sink & shower drains, and the black, filled by the toilet. RV campgrounds have two types of sites: with a sewage connection, and without. Sewage connection allows constant drainage to a septic system. Neither the grey nor black tank ever fill up. If you're at a site without sewage hookup, the tanks may fill up. However, most campgrounds will have a "dump site" where you can empty the tanks before you hit the road again.
